Pre-Save inactive after transporting car on trailer ?

Pre-Save inactive after transporting car on trailer ?
not pulled any codes yet but i just transported my car on an open trailer for about 4 hrs in 10 degree weather and when i started it to unload and i get a pre-save inactive on the dash not the pre safe .
did a search here but have not found much about the pre SAVE inactive malfunction ?
what may cause this , could find nothing in the owners manual about it .

so your saying there is a setting through the prompts ?

Yes, i think it the prompt between amg and the service one where you can turn on/off the reverse cam, parking sensors etc . Ill get you some more details in a bit when i go to the car. Also is the pre safe icon on? Its to the left of the 0 on the speedo.

the message i am getting is pre-save not the pre safe .
that's whats getting me i see a lot of stuff here on the form about pre-safe but nothing on pre-save .
i run through the prompts today and see what i can find ?

Your battery is weak.
You need your sbc reset/ calibrated or a speed sensor on one of the wheels is going bad.

i don't think i have SBC ? i have not looked for the box behind headlight but a search here says i don't

Regarding the battery, I got into an arguement on the forums. The CL has the main battery in the trunk and a "battery" the size of a pack of cigarettes in the passengers kick panel. If you looked at it, you would think its a module of some sorts. I asked the parts guy how often you should replace it, and he laughed at me and said never. Its only there to keep enough juice flowing to keep your memory settings for your stereo etc. It has nothing to do with the function of the car.

in any case- your abs/esp module is out of whack or your battery is weak and hampers initiation of said system upon start.
i would definitely look at the front wheel sensors. if the tow managed to break something, it most likely would not be subtle and you will quickly see it.

i did go into the IC and changed some settings in RDK ( tire pressure control and indicator lamp for RDK ) think i will change them back and i will also check the battery and run a load test and see what it shows .

Mercedeses eat batteries like candy. If you battery is not at 100% you will have problems like the one you describe.
Do not change values you don't understand. Goes without saying. Remember that star is a professional tool and it can do as much harm as good.

O ya I know how powerful the star is and am VERY careful with it . I was Leary changing what I did .
I would like to change the tpms to not present . I don't have the senders in my wheels and hate the warning all the Time.
I was told there are two places you need to change to not present . one in instrument cluster and one in central gateway .
The only thing I could find in the IC that related to anything was RDK tire pressure monitor and instrument light . I changed them to not present but sill have the warning and tire light ? I guess I should go in and change them back .

well i replaced the battery pulled and cleaned all abs sensors checked all the wiring to them for any damage re synced the windows seats sunroof and steering . went back in to DAS and checked to see what i changed for the TPMS and it didn't change ? what i changed to NOT PRESENT was all back to PRESENT ?
still have the PRE-SAVE message ???
no codes on DAS everything on the car works fine , all shifting modes work fine trans shifts smooth through all gears .
I'm stumped ? not giving up yet there has to be some small thing causing this message ? it's killing me trying to figure it out !!!
