Blacked out W215s
The idea of blacking out my car has been running around my head for a good month now. I love the way the car is now and I guess that maybe the want for a all murdered out look will pass sometime soon, but I have been trying to google and search on here for all the blacked out w215s with just seeing a few.
Anyone?
I would of course do it the right way, all chrome molding, wheels, front grille, window trim, and some other misc stuff around the car.
Thanks to CharlestonN for doing a photo chop for me on my car of how it would look like SINISTER

check out this blacked out w215.
I think with the right wheels and drop it could look good. But you will be hiding a lot of the details that make the car stand out from any other car.

Here's something similar, to give you a good idea for wheels. It's not completely black and might prove to be the best combo for it. Finish is called Titanium Graphite.
We've done a CL too, but not blacked out ... looks sick tho and worth a look as well.

Agreed... your about 5 yrs too late for the wow factor. In my opinion as a car ages trying to keep its shine, body panel alignment and everything else straight becomes more and more difficult. Think of how the flat black primer cars of older hot rods was a way to cover an orange fender on a blue car. Even blacking out looks like a cover up to me. As mentioned a set of decent wheels can really enhance the car's look. Look at OCKlasse's car....just jaw dropping awesome. So much of the car's lines and monster wheels would be lost if it all blended in as the same color without any contrast. I feel the stock 65 wheels would lose some appeal if they didn't have the bright outer lip to create a separation from rim to tire. Then again everyone is different. Personally I'd like a set of aftermarket gunmetal 65 wheels that look stock but are 20x10.5 for the rear with the correct offset to fit 305's...That correct offset involves shaking down a certain someone on here.. when I'm ready.LOL Don't you have a wedding to plan and some new Speedriven parts to enjoy??? (Just joking of course.) From where your are sitting you won't be seeing the outside, so just make the back of the car look good for all the people you'll be passing.

Def. Played out but seeing it on a car like the big body W215 would not be that bad
Yes def with the right wheels and the car done the right way it should be good. We are not talking about a hack job here.
LOL you are right my wedding is around the corner (2014). The car is at Speedriven ready to be picked up tomorrow afternoon and tonight a snowstorm is coming to Chicago Sat and Sun. look to be good no snow but with the 6 inch they are saying for tonight looks like my car won't be home till next week/weekend. I just ordered my 18s for my 265.40.18 MT ET Streets so I maybe if they get here next week I can enjoy the car a bit better when I pick it up from them. I will be getting my GO PRO to make some clips for you guys. Since no one else is putting them up.
LOL yea I guess I should just make the rear end nice.

D2Forged your car looks ill. I'll go as far as saying its the best looking one I have other seen. I guess "blacked out" all depends on the owner and how its done. You could do it like Nizdayo or whatever his name was and it would look like ****, or do it like D2Forged and have a bad *** car.

If you want the perfect offsets for the rear wheels to fit exactly that as you posted, I can put you in contact with my wheel guy to order you a set. Him and I worked on the offsets for 3 months to get them just right and that's what I'm running on the rears of my CL65.

I like the blacked out trim, grille, and smoked indicators. I think the black wheels is a little much, in my opinion. At the end of the day, we're driving a classy vehicle

agree with everyone. Black on black is getting old, keep it clean. Black with chrome accents looks good IMO, something similar to what I did with my car.
the wheels makes a huge difference too. If you're set on going with murdered out look, then get some brushed wheels

People love my blacked out 02, but a lot of people say if I had any rims besides the staggered 20 flat black Giovanna's it wouldnt look as good as it does. ive yet to see another 215 with rims i like better than mine. also carbon fiber accents here and there spice it up, as well as lorinser trunk lip and front vented fenders. Just plz don't do it if you live in fla lol

Yes, or black. The thing is with having an all black car,is that the things that aren't black draw a lot of attention like headlights, paint imperfections, license plate etc as well as not being freshly washed and garage kept.
