Leak under CL65. I'm scared, what should I do?

I noticed about 8 discrete 1.5 inch stains under the front of the vehicle on my garage floor. They were spread out over a couple of feet side to side. They are not oil so I'm thinking the dreaded ABC curse has hit. So far no warning light or unusual car height.

My problem is that my AMG mechanic is about 90 miles away. The car just had the B service two weeks before and got a clean bill of health. Murphy has obviously struck again. I haven't seen any other leaks since I noticed this last week. Is it safe to drive to my mechanic? What should I do?

As you have just had a "B" Service, i would get your mechanic to come to you and check it out !!

Your front hose is leaking on one side and is draining all across the hose.

It is a $300 or so part and 2 hours of work plus a quart or two of pentosin.

Called mechanic and he told me to check level. It was low. Now I will need to have it towed to him.

Is everyone using stock hoses or is there a source for better aftermarket?

I think all non- oem hoses people used are one offs made by hydraulic shops.

The oem is an upgraded part btw.
