Front license plate frame
My car didn't have a front license plate frame, even though I live in a 2-plate state. I'll try to get over as long as I can because it looks clean. But when (not if) I get pulled over I'll have to install it.
Question: Does the frame bolt through the front bumper, or does it attach from underneath? I'd hate to drill through the bumper area.

Did you car come with the body colored front frame mount? That mount is what gets drilled into the bumper and then the pate gets screwed into the mount.
I've seen an after market mount that screws in to the front tow bolt location. That way no holes need to be drilled.

We're required to have two plates here in D.C. So far, no problems with police. Different story with parking enforcement. I have gotten two tickets from them within the past year.
Considering two different alternatives:
Cheap:

Expensive:

No it doesn't have a mount, it has nothing. And it looks so nice. I don't think I could drill into the bumper. I'd have to pull the trigger on the drill, turn my head and cry lol.
thanks for the links, i like those solutions and will have to pick one.

I was on a forum and ran across a manufacture that makes a license plate frame that mounts onto the car by twisting into the tow hook. You don't have to drill holes or anything. Its been awhile now so your going to have to look it up. Hope this helps a bit.

OK this is so BIZARRE but I posted this yesterday right? Today i go downtown and park. Walking back to my car there is a ticket on the windshield. For not having a front license plate displayed! Apparently the walking traffic cops can write you for that here! My mind is blown, I JUST got my custom plates last week, mounted the rear one and took out the temp sticker. I post on here asking and BOOM the next day I get a ticket for it! Crazy! $80.00 too!
