CL65 misfiring

I have got the following codes coming up - 0306, 0304 and 0300.

I see that coil pack issues seem to be a common problem on v12 engines for my CL65 (215). I have checked the part numbers on the coil packs and the driver side (uk car)seems to be the updated one (A2751500680 but the passenger side seems to be the older one (A2751500580) which i have read can give bother.

Any help from anyone who had similar problems would be appreciated.

Also, what side are cylinders 4 and 6 on?
Thanks

Thanks biker349 - do you know how I would go about checking the transformer to see if it is it causing the problems ?

OP, my transformer recently crapped out. My car would start fine when cold, but would miss fire while idling. Once it got hot, I got missfires on multiple cylinders and the car ran like crap. It would be running so rich that it would burn your eyes, had no power and seemed like it only ran on 6 cylinders. I had the original transformer. The original has a black plastic cover where as my new oem replacement was completely aluminum front to back. Its the cheaper of the two to replace. The transformer is $650 compared to the coil at $1000.

Thanks R.K

Mine only seems to misfire when i floor it and not when idling.

I checked my transformer and it is completely aluminium with part number A000 150 02 58 Q1. Maybe the previous owner of my car had this replaced before.

do you know which side cylinders 4 and 6 would be on? these are the cylinders the code relate to - just trying to see if they are on the same side which has the old coil pack number

Thanks

i actually meant to say in my first post that about 3 days ago i got a tune from eurocharged and flashed it on with their software and then after a day this happened. So not sure if the extra power did something but it looks that way

Misfire under throttle can be the tune, the plugs, the coil packs or the transformer- in that order.

If you are over 75k miles I would suspect worn out plugs.

I went thru a similar thing your going thru..
I got a Eurocharge Tune and after a few days of enjoying it started getting misfire codes. It progressively got worse and eventually one bank shutdown.
This happened at first only when I gunned it and then in the end, I could not go around the block with it not shutting down (one bank down, old coil pack).

The cheap route is to first get the transformer but that didn't work for me, then I went the route of changing out the coil packs (2) and spark plugs.

Ever since, it's been awesome with the tune..

The recommendation should be:
Tune+Coil Pack (new serial#)+sparkplugs and not just the Tune.

Thank you NRL.

I just reflashed the stock file back on and all gone away - when i floor it, it moves and no check engine light with misfiring codes etc.

So for the minute i am just going to leave the stock file on it for a while till i get a new coil pack (one of mine is the new serial number and one is old) do you know which side cylinders 4 and 6 are on?

Thanks again
