Best place for brake rotors and pads

Its time for a brake job for my cl63. Where is the best place to get rotors and pads needed? I don't won't to spend an alarm and a leg a dealer.

Before buying my car I shopped for them at Rockauto.com just out of curiosity and found a lot of options for a fraction of the dealer price. I have not used them (for my CL) as my car had new brakes when I got it but you might look there.

Parts.com has been consistently the lowest priced oem source for mb parts.

No, I am not affiliated with them in any form or shape.

If they make Akebono Euro Ceramic brake pads for your car I highly recommend them. Those can be had on TireRack.

They don't make them for the W216 CL65. Thinking of contacting them to see what if anything they could do with my cores.

Need both front and rears. I'll check to see if I can turn the rotors but at 50k miles they might not have enought meat left to do so.

EBC or Akebono both have great options for pads. And they are equal to if not better than OEM. I found the best prices for them on Amazon.com. I just put the EBC redstuff on the front and love them.

RB are the way to go

ZAYED,,
I've had them on my CL55 for a year. They show no wear in spite of spirited driving. The new OEM MB pads are the way to go (made by TRW.) RBs are a final purchase. They have improved ride quality as well as stopping power compared to the stock AMG brakes. If you hit the brakes the car stops NOW: like it weighed 1k lbs less!

Do not use ceramic pads with RB.

If you track your car, contact RB and they will have a solution for pads.

NB: I just went to the Racing Brake site. I see they have added multiple brake pad solutions since I purchased my CL55 brakes. I would certainly consider them and would have if they were available last year. I have no knowledge of where they are sourced, etc.

I like OEM rotor`s and Akebono pads are a nice set up. Just buy the parts and let and indy do it or do it yourself.

I purchased front/rear brake pads & rotors for my CL65 from Parts.com at considerable saving like 25% off versus the dealership. I wanted only MB OEM replacement parts. I helped (watched) a friend of mine do the job, it wasn't to hard.
