Trunk got wet , now no radio
2002
USA model
We've had severe rain storms and now there's no sound in my stock radio and the comand screen says i have no cd changer
Tthe left side of my trunk near the cd changer is wet. Cd won't eject either , how do I remove the left side carpeted trim panel?
Are there other components like amps or other electronics besides the cd changer located there in the lower left side of trunk! Help please

Start by removing the plastic panels at the rear trunk lower opening. Then from there remove every other screw/fitting you see that is showing through the panel liners.
Eerything will come out.
Your Amp, phone electronics, CD, etc are all located there.

1. Remove trunk floor carpet
2. Remove 6 push in clips (pull up pin with two small screwdrivers in slots on each side of pin, then pull out clip) and 2 #20 torx screws holding tie downs in rear plastic cover and remove cover
3. Remove torx screw going in to floor through side panel at front of trunk
4. Remove push in clip going up into package shelf at front top of side cover
5. remove side panel
The entire left rear wheelwell is full of electronics. Probably want to remove and dry everything. Your amp is at the bottom and probably submerged.

I have a 2004 CL600 CD changer with Optic fiber and everything, only thing missing is the AMP. If you need it just shoot me an offer, I am letting it go cheap!
