I did a better burnout made sure that tires were very sticky. I also launched the car harder this time around. On both of the 11.3 runs I let the car go off at 1,500 RPM. On the 11.2 run I gave it as much as it could hold and in the video you can see that I stalled it up and the converter let it go for a split sec thats when I knew to let off the brake and roll out. I think it was somewhere around 2K RPMS when it gave out. I know it has more in it. You have to make sure you are in DYNO mode to get your good burnout and also don't be afraid to sit there at the tree after the light goes green. Take your time and focus on your launch.

Looks like we will be Dyno Tuning the car in the near future. I will not make any trips to the track until that is done. Hopefully we can get it all figured out and next time the car hits the track it can crack a 10s pass. I will keep you guys updated with new info with new DYNO numbers and when its ready.

I'm adding a fee more mods to the mod list including a nee set of custom made wheels which hopefully will get started soon. Im also thinking about going with the big turbos vs just the billets. Time will tell but for now trying to turn current goals into reality.

Yea Adam some nice turbos would be awesome to do.
I will try to get car in the shop this week to get it all sorted out. I have to talk to the guys to see how much work they got going on but hopefully they have some time to get this thing sorted out so that I can hit the track again this coming weekend.

For now it looks like it will take a while to go back to the track. I'm nearing closing on my house, car is not tuned yet. I think it's pointless heading out to the track with same setup this weekend, since I wont be able to improve by much at all. My 60ft was as good as it will get, maybe I can still dip into the 1.5x on a better tire. This however won't correct my issue with up top. I'm still trying to figure out whats going on and try to get this thing tuned.

Most goals worth pursuing take time. When it comes to ET goals, IMO it is more fun to chip away at that desired time while having fun racing than to set a goal so low you achieve it right away. Keep at it and you will get there.

I'm strongly considering to do this mod. I want to see how well I can do once car is tweaked and tuned right. After that I can get some base line #s with and without the cold air intakes. I can also see how much they will give me as far as the track goes.

Long day at the show yesterday, saw some awesome cars including Mid_Cartel'ss (Forum Member) wide body SL65 thing was def an amazing car to look at. Awesome turnout with well over 600+ cars. The mercedes crowd was not huge as usual from what I seen were 3 SL Wide Body cars, The new E63 AMG rocking a super nice set of wheels, a few old school benzes, 2 or 3 E classes. Other than that a lot of other unique cars all over. I took 2nd place 1st place went to a red wide body owned by GINO a guy that Im not sure is on here. I know its a prior wide body kit with DPE wheels and Speedriven work.
Next step is getting the car tuned this coming week, and if all goes well track time again with hopefully better results.

If I would have seen this post earlier I would have tried to make it up there. I'm about an hour south. A guy I work with has a new E63 S. Man is that thing bad! He said it's faster than his 911 Turbo.
How are your lights now that they're blacked out? Still good at night? Wanna do this mod possibly. Really wish i could find a 03+ front bumper too so i could fit a lip on it.
