11.7x I have to double check exact time but as soon as I saw the slip I hid it in the glove box and started cursing lol

Listen, don't make yourself nuts and take it out on the car. Many of the V12tts with decent times did it in 40 degree weather with negative DA. You have the odds against you. Also, you can get a decent burn out and still spin 50-100 ft off the line with the open rear. I did it a bunch of times then just aborted the runs, that's the beauty of a track rental, turn around and do it again. This occurred on the same day I had 3 1.5x along with a 1.60 and 1.61. If you look at the last two slips I had good launch and good MPH, but only broke 11 seconds in one of them. (see link below) Its not that easy. Traction is half the battle finding some more power with cooler weather and negative DA will also be required. ...So I said 11.7x what do I win???

I know what you mean, I waited 3 hours to get 2 runs in which were terrible to say the least. I now have some more issues with the car which I'm dealing with, hopefully next track day is sometime this weekend.

After last time out at the track my car started misfiring pretty bad. I just got word from Speedriven it needs a coil on the passenger side. I will order the coil today or tomorrow and get it here ASAP so I can go back and run the car. I'm starting to wonder if this also had me loosing power earlier when I ran the 11.2 pass. We should find out next week.

Very doubtful.. As when coil starts to go etc you'll start w/misfires then limpmode etc Id be dumbfounded if any v12tt had coils starting to go at any point would you see 11.2 1/4 in dead heat of summer.. Remember Claytons perf running sl600 at MIR in great DA etc managed a BEST of 11.02 in 1/4.. His 600 was making 540-550whp & he ran very similar 60' to your 11.2 pass etc
Hopefully nxt week you'll see much cooler air & better DA w/same power as ur 11.2 & hopfully grab that elusive 10.99!

What parts? You mentioned another coil went bad, but what other parts? Did you guys ever diagnose the MPH drop on the back half? That old timeslip makes me think you've dropped the car off for a tranny rebuild. You did mention a boost leak, but I think that was before the 11.7 run the other day. Either way, best of luck and I'm pulling for you to hit 10's.

Just Pass side ignition coil at this time, the car was dialed in a bit better last time out but had no traction at all. Ignition coil should be here sometime this week and hopefully I have some better traction this coming weekend at the track. I'm still going after the stock turbo record for the 600, seemed way easier to get earlier on, but I believe I can do it with a good sticky track next time out.

Hey Guys,
Car is going in to Speedriven again this week, I have a vac leak somewhere on the door so it does not want to soft close. I will get that fixed since I'm trying to sell the car. The plan is to purchase a WideBody SL65 from another forum member so I'm working to get things rolling. My wife does not want me to have both, and in all honesty I would want the money out of the CL to go towards the SL65. I will have a new build thread once I start the work on the 65 (SPeedriven Big Turbo Work that is) I have been going back and forth if I should just do it to the CL since the platform is a bit better for a big trubo car.
I'm taking offers on my car you guys know on this thread what I did and what is going on with it.
The boost leak was resolved car is trapping 125mph, there is not a single thing you need on this car other than the big turbos and maybe a new trans. My trans is fine I was throwing boost that is why the trap was all messed up.
If the car does not sell this thread will continue and I will keep building, no matter what happens I'm still getting financing lined up for the 65.

The Coil was replaced car is running fine and hard now. No issues. Congrats on hitting that 11.0 pass, next time just push a bit on the wheel at the finish line for that 10.99 pass

Hey good luck with the sale, but realize these cars don't sell over night unless they are at a give away price. If you can swing both cars, you may be able to wait for the buyer who truly appreciates the car and is willing to pay closer to the asking price. Otherwise, you'll probably see a bunch of low ballers for sure.

Talked to Marcin from Speedriven for over an hour today there are many 600s out there for $15-$20k just not this one.
