metallic engine rattle cl55
Im getting a sharp mattalic rattle up front near the belts. I searched and it seems like it's the inner Bearing on the 2 piece idler from what I've read. I'd love to get a second option before I start ordering parts. Here is the video I took.

Take off the belt and fire it up to see if the noise goes away. Usually, with the belt off if you spin and try to wiggle a bad idler you can tell if it is shot.

My inner idler pulley broke in half a couple of weeks ago and the car went straight down on its ***.
As an emergency i found that i could take both the pulleys off and swap the front pulley over to the back to get the car started, raised, and drive a short while back to home.
But personally i would get it seen to BEFORE it breaks off.
Im pretty sure you can get a bearing kit pretty cheap for those.
