It's a shame such a well-built car drops in value like this simply because most people who like the cars don't do their own work. I'll never touch a turbo 4-cyl again after having cubic inches and boost. How could you pick a boring commuter appliance when $26k gets you something like this? 99% of people who buy a turbo import to modify will never get it to the power level this car starts at from the factory.
The AutoTrader shows a dealer with a 2003 S600 for right at $12k -- another steal as family sedans go. If they keep it much longer I might be tempted to toss out an offer even though I don't need another car right now. I want to say mileage is in the 80k range so that's not bad either.
