It has been a while since I had a chance to make it back to run the 1/4 mile. I managed to get a new person best. I was hoping to launch the car harder, but couldn't match my best 60 ft. Despite the jump in power from the past, maybe the 20 degree warmer temp hurt my launch yesterday. I can't complain the car ran strong and I had a lot of fun. Here are a few time slips of my best passes. I don't think most would expect this out of a stock turbo car, but a little massaging over the years has helped.

Congratulations! Awesome........ Wait, oh crap..... now you are faster than me, LOL! Nice trap speed. Shows you are really making a lot more power. Very nice times too.
I'd love to trap 130+. I can hardly wait until Memorial weekend when I get to go racing. Just loaded up some racing supplies:

Thank You, maybe at your altitude. You will still be battling the heat for most of the year. LOL
Thank Jody, all you need to do is get another 65, then pull out that box from under your bed and put those pretty shiny big snails to good use!

Your worst nightmare...
trust me you are not kidding lol, I have the turbos stored in very safe and controlled environment. I also have the rotors. I sold the drive shaft since someone gave me good money. Unfortunately I have my eyes on a 991 TTS or a 570S when I finish my MBA. but who knows, I might just pick up a 65 and play with it. Either ways, your times are gravity defying. Any further mods to your 65? I am quite sure this car will go 10.4 or better if you just slightly reduce the weight.

Just don't try too hard, haha. What type of outside temps do you normally see at that time of the year? We all know how these cars love cold weather.
It would be nice to put this car on Jenny Craig, but at the same time, I don't want to take away from what it is. I guess I could get a light weight drag setup with spare skinnies up front along with a lighter battery. The rotors weigh a ton so all the weight reduction in rotational mass would be a big help, but the $$$ adds up quick. For now I'll enjoy it as is. I think I'm maxed out for power with the stock turbos. Your turbos would be a nice upgrade, but would require a built transmission immediately. Who knows, maybe one day....
Thanks, The car is very smooth at delivering power. It just goes, and you are right about the torque.
Thank you, I had it dyno'ed a while back on 93 without the ice tank at the time and it resulted in 645WHP. I run MS109 at the track and a 6 gallon tank filled with ice to keep the IATs down. I'm guessing close to 700WHP in race form, that was what I am told is needed for a 190MPH mile.

Temps were at 65 degrees and DA was around +100ft, I picked up a 1/10th and 3 mph but my last PB was at 45 degrees and something like -1200ft. Getting those conditions again would have been nice.

I'd love a -DA track day. Ours will drop like that overnight, but by the time we start test & tune it is usually in the 300's, then climbs. Only chance for really good air here is our last day of the year which is Labor Day.

In my honest opinion, don't be too optimistic to get the car over 650 WHP with stock turbos, because this already is more on the high side, depending on dyno, conditions etc, additional mods.
Not sure what E85 can do for our cars, as I haven't seen proper dynos, times up to date - only more kind of speculation. Good Luck!

I agree. Speedriven builds some serious monsters, but 1,000 RWHP is optomistic. If Marcin says he can do it I'm sure he can though. Either way, any CL 65 with or without mods is a blast to drive. I am scheduled to dyno my car next Saturday, but my mods are minimal compared to what Speedriven can do, see my signature. Assuming my Killer Chiller works well (just finished the instal so need to get the A/C system charged tomorrow) I hope to be in the mid to upper 600's. 800+ would be sick!

On Pump fuel after all the years, I still wait for a clear real dyno or real relevant times of a car with over 750-800 RWHP, with Stock ECU.
But I would be glad if someone could prove me wrong...
However, the cars are already fast in stock form.
Good luck with the build.

After I play with it a bit I am shipping it to them for the full kit and LSD.

No problem. I believe you are in good hands with Speedriven. They have been a big help to me and I have learned a lot about these cars from them. In the mean time, enjoy your car, and please get some pre mod track #'s!

Thank you, I chewed up a lot of drag radial trying.

LOL, yeah I hear ya.
As for the kit yeah, its a built trans and manifolds and turbos and I opted for the LSD and suspension module as well as intercoolers and pump etc etc. Do it right the first time instead of doing it again.

Stock the car can really use the LSD. At my power level it's not uncommon to still have wheel spin over 60 with the LSD if not feathering the throttle. Maybe consider wider rear tires I don't know how much room you have, but it can't hurt.
