New CL63 AMG Owner (w/ 13k original miles!)
Hey guys,
Proud to be a new member of the CL63 AMG family! I could not be more exciting with my newest AMG (my 7th AMG). Here are the specs:
CL63 AMG (W216 w/ 6.3L)
- Designo Graphite
- 13k ORIGINAL MILES (lowest in the country)
- Almost every option except Distronic
- Stealth K40 Radar system
The car is truly a time capsule. The car had well over a $150k+ MSRP and I am fortunate to have gotten it at a tiny fraction of that price. She is 100% bone stock and even came with the K40 as a surprise, even the dealership had no idea it was on the car. The engine bay is so clean you can literally eat off of it. I have never seen such a clean second had car in my life (I guess not a surprise giving its only driven 13k in almost 7 years.
Planned Upgrades:
Eurocharged V5 tune
ROW Airboxes + AFE filters (carbon delete)
Keeping exhaust 100% stock
Upgrading brake system to drastically reduce rotational mass
Few other secret surprises

Very very nice example of that year 63. But literally what you probably paid for that you could have bought a biturbo 63 that will blow that car away in everyway, but that would have had more mileage which might be a downfall, but also a much better driveline, better command, suspension, face-lift modern front end, and numerous refinements.

If you knew what I paid for it your jaw would hit the floor... This is by far the best deal I have ever gotten in my lifetime on any car. The price was so low I am not going to even say it... Let's just say I got it $10k under its full retail value . No way you can get a biturb I anywhere near this price
P.S. I hate the power band of the biturb- , it red lines too low at 6300 and has too much low end torque and not enough top end power. I don't care if it's technically slower, the 6.3L is so much more enjoyable. If I ever want to go faster I can always hope into my Italian
Also due to unique exhaust design, the CL63 is by far the smoothest & most exotic sounding of all the NA 63s. The last of the NA CL63 is better than the newer versions in my opinion. Plus I think the pre facelift is the classier of the two designs

It has the upgraded black Nappa leather interior with the alcantara headliner. Leather is literally brand new, still has new leather smell

I prefer the pre facelift as well. Looks much cleaner to me and front end flows better.
Excellent purchase. Cheers!

lol....a biturbo 63 will eat your Italian stock, and with a tune rape it.... Not like the power band??? It's more power top to bottom. Only people that would side with you is the someone who has the outdated drive line. It was irrelevant when they dropped it.
And I bought a 2012 designo cl63 for 42k with 36k miles. Doubt you did much better on the NA 63....but none the less I sold the biturbo 63 and 65 w216 14' and now picked up a s coupe 65'.

Kind of reminds me of another guy here.
My friend has CL63 BiTurbo 2012, I've got CL63 2009. Driven both, absolutely same cars in terms of brakes, suspension, navigation and whatever else. While sitting inside, only difference is steering wheel.
Engine? Yes, biturbo is faster, tried it and lost to it badly. But, the N/A is so much more enjoyable engine in terms of emotions. The biturbo reminds me of modern diesel engines like BMW 50d engine - endless torque, a lot of power .... but boring.
