Except for the wheels and the badging is there anything that visually seperates this car from the 55? I saw what was supposed to be a CL65 the other day but couldn't be sure because he had already changed the wheels.

Wheels, Badging, 2 piece front rotors and speedo that says V12 BiTurbo. That is about the only difference visually unless you pop the hood.

Looks so sexy I love it. The side badges are the best part, If it where mine It would have all the original badges on it.

It looks like a fake to me. The side skirt under the V12 emblem is missing the 65 raised fold. It could be a 55 with gunmetal wheels. Why would someone eliminate part of the $75,000 badge package?...sorry A..I couldn’t resist.

Im not sure what a "raised fold" but I assume the side skirts are identical on both AMG cars...but it is indeed a 65 you can tell by the brakes....I see him around every now and then... I will try more detailed pics for the skeptics.

Why didn't they separate the CL65 and CL55 more like they did on the SL. I know you can get the performance package on the SL55 to make it look like the SL65 but why not do something similiar to the CL?

I think you're right.. raised fold for the air exits on the side of the bumper cover, in front of the wheels, right? But then I looked at some pics online, I dont think the CL came with those..

Only the SL65 has the front air ducts. The CL65 has the standard AMG body kit.

Man, that was a great eye if it turns out to be a 55. I live near Wildwood as well and saw this car on Old Gtown the other day. Either way it is a nice car but hope its not the ole badge switcharoo!

How would he pop the bonnet with his ***? That's nigh on impossible.

The car looks fantastic, but a little bare without the rear badges.

we have an sl65 and this is definetely a cl65. It has the CL65 2 piece brakes up front (first picture shows vaguely), and also has drilled and slotted rotors which comes on the 65's. The 55's are not drilled and slotted. So, this car in fact is a CL65

Notice the brake on our SL65 is slotted and drilled, like the one in the picture.

Thanks..I pointed that out earlier, as well I saw them close up, there will always be skeptics I guess
