Anyway, I've got one side painted tonight and I'll be applying the AMG lettering after they cure. Orange is typically my favorite caliper color, but I'm not sure it's a good fit on my CL. Regardless, the damage is done. I'm sure they'll grow on me over the next few days, but I'm currently thinking I may have gone too far.
Here's a video taken in my garage:

Black.with white lettering would look nice and maybe even red with black lettering but orange just doesn't work. However, if you are happy, who cares what the world thinks.

If my wife could have caught a photo of me last night after painting them I would have looked liked this:

LMAO! I guess Zayed and I are the only ones that don't absolutely hate them. I'll apply the AMG decals this evening and post up some more photos. Hopefully I'll get it knocked out before dark.

Not really a fan of it on the CL. Not even sure I'm a fan of it on the Jeep, either.
P.S. You need some 315s on the back of the Jeep!

Kudos for trying something new. But somehow that color mixes like oil and water... I have the blue G2 kit that I'll probably throw away otherwise. Shipping and it's yours!

Hey I gotta say that doesn't look like the best orange, not that any orange would look okay with the Pewter. I'll be nice, but its almost as bad as adding raised white lettered tires to the car....LOL. It is yours do as you wish, glad to see you are cool with the criticism, we all make mistakes, most don't admit or share... As mentioned maybe the red will give a nicer contrast.

Yea, I think I'm on mod restriction for a few weeks. I was gonna go with the blue, but the wife nixed that and said to just go back to silver.
And for the record, I'd love to have a replacement set of rotors. Drop a set off when you get a chance Steve and I'll install them. Deal?

Unfortunately the KC is on the back burner until winter. Race season is here and I don't want any downtime. I'll just have to deal with the damn box fans for a little longer. Personally I think I have a bad KC, as I've swapped out the TXV twice. I can't wait until worrying with IAT's is a thing of the past.
What do you guys think of this spoiler? I think it will draw a little attention away from the calipers, but blend well with the shape of the car.
Just kidding. Put down the pitch forks and torches please.

Gotta be honest... not really my favorite. They worked on the SRT simply because that was a polarizing car to begin with... Frankly I'd stick with silver on the CL.
