New CLA45 AMG
Figured I would post this under my personal account. Just picked this up a few weeks ago, haven't had much time to post as I've been traveling for the holidays.
It's currently my second AMG, next to my E55 which I haven't been driving much at all lately. I must say, it's a very nice car. Well put together, very easy to modify and very good looking (once set up correctly).
So far I had my good friends at Chapparone Auto Body paint the front grille, lower lip spoiler, side skirt add-ons and rear diffuser gloss black.
And I had my boys in the back of ACG Automotive lower the car with H&R Springs and we used some H&R Trak+ spacers to get a much needed better stance. Also a set of extended black lugs and Bullock Reguard Locks to hold the wheels in place.
We also vinyl wrapped the roof and window trim gloss black as well as the orange reflectors in the headlamps.
I plasti-dipped the emblems and I sprayed the exhaust tips. Just looks better than chrome.
Here it was in the dealership showroom.... Quite ugly with the silver trim....
And how it sits now....
Love the tail lamps....
Thinking about selling it soon actually, so if anyone is interested let me know

It's roughly an inch lower. I would personally like lower as I find the nose clearance to be extremely sufficient but I think this offers a great look for very little investment.

The headlamps need to be disassembled to access the reflectors. Not something I would recommend doing if you are not familiar with the process.

Why didn't you just get the gloss black "Night Styling Package"? Maybe because you would've had to wait for the build? Was it less expensive to do afterwards? I didn't realize those parts could be taken off to paint. Nevertheless, excellent job!

That is what I worried about….nothing worse than disassembling it and then you get constant condensation and other funky issues with the headlights

i just saw this on the mercedes cla forum, very nice.
if i'm gonna get this car, it'll definitely be exactly the way yours look, perfect.
Finally somebody has removed those ugly orange reflectors in those headlamps. That'll be the first mod i'd do if i had the car.

someone please do a "DIY how to video" black out those orange side markers!!! must get rid of them!!! Mine light up at night, not sure if that is a transport canada thing or not….do the black out ones light up at night???

Handles very well.
I'm using 12mm all around currently. Very flush in the rear. The front could do a 15mm but it works.
Selling to get another GTR or an SUV.

Wow, that came out looking amazing! At first, just based on reading it, I thought the black trim would be too much, but I must say, I am a huge fan of the end result! Looks like a badass StormTrooper! Definitely post some more pictures, I love these CLA's!
