A welcome surprise from my friends and from OETuning...
So, some of you may or may not know, but I'm a tax preparer. Right now during the season, that doesn't leave me much time to do anything.
I was going to figure out what to do with my 45 once tax season was over and I had some time. Turns out my roommates/friends had an idea and decided to surprise me. They took my car down to OETuning without my knowledge while I was at work, and during that time, they were prototyping their tune on it. Before you ask, yes I trust my roommates that much and they were good with their stories, heheh.
I just got the car back tonight after finding out what went down and I've got to say, the power is pretty damn impressive. Car's roasting front tires in the lower gears and up top it's got a hell of a lot of pull. According to the dyno I got, the car gained a max of 68 hp to the wheels and 104 torque. Crazy stuff.
So a shoutout to OETuning and to my good friends who made it possible.
I'm guessing they'll put out a report or a blog and some video or something too.

I take it you would have tuned your car anyways because I would be pissed if someone took my car and modded the ecu throwing question to the warranty

Hey, I trust my roommate, who happens to be my best friend. :p And I'm doing taxes right now 6 days a week for 12 hours plus. I don't have time to pay attention to everything, heh.

I do like OETuning's better. On the E55, the tune was smoother. Less jerk from the SC engagement. It also doesn't hurt that they're local, heh.
Hey, if you guys want me to do a review comparison, then you can buy me the competing tune and I'll make a fair, unbiased decision. Just because I have a Benz doesn't mean I'm made of money.

Long story short, I paid for both of them. :p Was it expensive? Well, it was definitely more than I wanted to spend, but in the end it was worth it.
