Pricing on the BenzWorks downpipe revealed!

Alright, I know a lot of you have been asking about the price on BenzWorks' downpipe. And I now have the answer.


$849.

Now if a group buy is done, that number can be brought down to $699. Minimum of 10 orders.

If you watch my video I posted earlier, you can hear what it sounds like. IMO, that's pretty reasonable.

So, who's interested?

I'm in if it does not throw a CEL. Also, do we have an option for the mid-pipe similar to the Rebellion one?

I'm running the down pipe with the ECU tune by OE Tuning for close to 3 weeks now. No CEL at all. As for mid-pipe, I'm not sure because I haven't seen the exact length of the pie e. I'll see about getting a photo & comparison.

As for the mid-pipe thing, no mid-pipe was done. It was determined there's no real power gains from it. All it really does is basically make the car louder, and the downpipe with the AMG Performance exhaust factory option is already pretty loud as it is without being ridiculous. Well in my opinion, anyways. I definitely love the sound that the downpipe combined with the exhaust gives, but personally I don't want to go overboard. I'd rather my money go towards performance over style.

Anyways, I'll get the pics to everyone and we'll go from there!

how much faster is the car down low compared to stock?
just saw on another thread in this section where a tuned 550 walked the 45
does the tune make a huge difference?

Oh, it's night and day. I've got to get better tires to handle the power and torque on the ground. As is I've got to learn how to feather otherwise the car can and will break tires well into second gear and even try to in third.

I'm going to get dyno'ed soon, but they did dyno a GLA with mods pretty much like mine (tune, downpipe & filter ) and it put down an extra 95 wheel horsepower and 99-102 wheel torque. The tune alone dyno'ed an extra 68 wheel hp and 104 torque.

As for that video, of course the 45 will get walked stock. The Stage 2 gets the 550 another 100 wheel and at least 100 torque. Modded though will be an entirely different story. With the right tires, you'd easily break into 11's, I'd say. The 45 stock already runs 12.6-12.7 consistently.

I just wanted to make sure that it's not the tune that resets the CEL since I do not have one yet.

If that's the case and we have 10 for the group buy then I'm in.
