I bought a 2014 CLA 45 amg brand new . I waited one year for it to come out back in 2013! loved that thing more than anything. I waited so long for the night package and red cut leather

I traded it in for $38k after paying $53k MSRP.

i am looking at used ones and seeing 26k for 27k miles ! no accidents..

wondering why they seem so low ? why is this subforum relatively so quiet?

did the cla45 never catch on persay ? are they scary out of warranty?

I am back in the market and would like to hear from current owners.

Lack of forum activity could suggest low ownership/vehicle popularity, or low forum participation by CLA owners. Hard to say. I don't see many CLAs on the road, but rather more GLAs.

CLA sales aren't blistering. Roughly 5% of M-B sales, and declining.

i heard for every 200 cla 250 allocations a dealer gets, one of those will be a cla 45 amg allocation
after the initial burst 2014 production run it became hard to order
a lot of people think the g-wagen is hard to order, but the cla 45 is also pretty exclusive and previous posts on order experiences reflect its exclusivity

yeah I've only seen a few on the road ever since letting mine go. I also did more research and it appears the facelift versions affected the 2014 models value alot I guess.

A small, scrappy Mercedes is a tough sell at Cayman/Corvette money new, especially when most customers of this manufacturer are shopping for bigger, more luxurious rides. I've yet to see one on the road after all these years (unless it's my wife in my rear view mirror), but the market will figure these out over time.
