I wasn't able to option mine out. It was more of a "here's what's coming in, do you want one of them" situation. Are you guys ordering packages and not getting them? My assumption is anything that is in short supply would not be put on the vehicles available to employees so it could be sold to retail customers (still learning how things work).
Many of the vehicles I looked at before scoring my CLA 45 did have the "multimedia package" on them and some had the "parking assistance" so I'm assuming those packages are not hard to get. "Driver Assistance" was rare and only on the more expensive vehicles that would go quick (S-class and EQ models are not available for us to lease). Keep in mind that the same package on different models does not necessarily have the exact same components so it's possible for one model to have it while others are short. I was nearly exclusively looking at the AMG models that popped up infrequently (almost ended up with a GLC 43) so my observations are for those models. I don't have any options on my 45 that require electronics with the exception of the Burmester sound system (which I'm happy about getting).
What options, if any, are being deleted from your orders? I don't know if I have any way to get you some insight on why that's happening, but I am definitely curious. 😅
For most of this year and some of last whatever component that makes the AR nav and AMG track pace has been limited or unavailable. As they both use the front camera I'm assuming it's connected to that. So on our orders it's been Multimedia Package Lite and AMG Dynamic Plus Package Lite. Got about a $600 price cut for it. I believe they're fully available now, but I missed the cut off. Not exactly essential items, just cool to show off with. I'm never going to track my car, but I live about an hour from COTA. You can drive the track at Christmas, would have been cool to run track pace on then.
The Parking Package was available which was another thing I got just cause it's cool.
So to answer OP’s original question. I ordered mine in December. Had an April build date that was almost immediately pushed to May. May came and went and the build date was updated to June. June 22 I get the notice it’s produced and not shipped. Finally got a message July 26 that it was on a boat. The boat actually left July 22. Aug 10 it arrived at Brunswick and checked into VPC. Today I’m told it’s ready for release and we spent the day doing numbers, trade in etc. not sure how it gets here, I’m thinking train to Dallas or Houston and then a car transporter. Maybe take delivery next week? If not, it has to be the week of the 22nd.
Dealer kept their word on sticking to MSRP, but I think they’re getting me back through the trade in. I got quotes Carvana, Autonation and all the others and either got about the same offer or way lower. Texas has a sales tax break on trade ins so I’m better off with trading it in.
I noticed an update on the lease site, so I went through the vehicles available that will arrive in mid-September. Every vehicle with the multimedia package was showing "Multimedia Package Lite" so the shortage is still an issue, unfortunately. I've never come across a vehicle with the Dynamic Plus package so I can't comment on that.
Just noticed, Continental Sportcontact 6 tires? Aren't they supposed to be Michelin Pilot Sport 4s? Second one I've seen in Texas with these tires from the factory.

Just picked her up from the dealership and spent the afternoon driving round. Wow, how the hell do you keep it in tame mode for the break in? I'm in comfort with everything set to its most grandma'ish, but damn it wants to gooooooooo!!!
