Out with the old and in with the new
Picked her up on Friday. I was a little scared getting rid of the C63 as it's been my favorite car to date. I haven't thought about it once in the past 2 days! I love the sound from the performance exhaust and the grip is incredible! The days of spinning the rear tires are over! The tiny 4 cylinder is pretty impressive but i've got a eurocharged tune on order and I think that'll be just what the CLA45 needs to really shine. Negatives....eco mode! I don't see myself using that ever.

so driving comparison, the 45 feels better? Handling? I know Chris Harris said he doubted a C63 could keep up with the A45 on a winding road, which seemed interesting.
LOL quite honestly, the C63 growl alone probably would have sold me if it was sitting next to my 45 in at the dealer.
That's one very nice looking 45!

The CLA45 Feels a lot more planted than the C63. I was never fully confident going all out into a turn with the C63. The CLA45 hugs the road and you never feel a loss of traction. There is no doubt that the C63 is faster in a straight line but once my tune arrives I think the difference will be negligible. The CLA45 to me drives a lot like my old Audi TTS but on steroids!

Looks great! Let me know how the tune goes, interested in doing it as well. The AWD will be good for the snow!
Your NSP also has the black exhaust! I am still frustrated why Canada didn't get that with NSP!!

I didn't think it was too bad considering 8 months ago I was offered 50K for it but it only had 15K miles. So 8 months and 8,000 miles later with a 2K loss wasn't bad.
I drove from VA to NY to trade and pick up the CLA45 and of course originally they offered 46K but then I raised hell and was ready to drive back 4 1/2 hours empty handed then they decided to come around plus ended up with 1K off the CLA45 which was better than I was expecting. Nothing great but I can't complain considering I didn't order the car and found exactly what I wanted sitting at the VPC. Dropped a deposit down and had the car a week later.

Congrats, ride looks amazing. How do you feel about the standard seats? Been kinda torn with shelling out the additional cash for the recaros. Love the way they look, just not sure sure about spending the extra cash for them. I have a budget I'm also trying to meet.

I think those look awesome too! At least you still get a one-piece seat, even with the standard seat option.
How do they compare to the C63's seats?
It looks like the rib bolstering is pretty ample.
However, the thigh bolsters look less aggressive. I suppose that could be a good thing (less wear and tear entering/exiting).
Anyway, would love to hear your thoughts regarding the comparison.

They aren't bad by any stretch but they don't compare to the C63 seats. They were a lot more aggressive. Those were the best I've had in a car to date. From a comfort stand point though I have no complaints with the CLA45 standard seats. Bigger individuals would probably prefer the CLA45 seats to the C63 seats as they are less restrictive.
Honestly, I think I prefer the look of your seats to the Recaros. They look more comfortable. If I were to at some point go the CLA45 route, I would option it nearly identically to yours. The trim looks great.
You're lucky that you get the DINAMICA inserts with those seats. I have them on my C63 and after about 3,000 miles they still look brand new.
