Better late than never, MB Canada also posted the information on the new facelift and too confirmed (as you would expect) that the CLA 45 S is coming to Canada as well: https://media.mercedes-benz.ca/relea...cedes-benz-cla

The CLA 45 was a low seller in Canada so that might or might not be the reason but then that cause could also be due to people waiting for the 45 S or the fact that lots of Americans and also Canadians prefer SUVs.
Maybe Canada is getting only the CLA 35 (and the 45 S is for the to be announced GLA facelift, exclusively) but hopefully not as I was actually looking forward to the CLA 45 S coming because as I mentioned previously, this vehicle is lighter than the W206 C 43, smaller and more powerful as well as having physical buttons still for many functions.
They didn't put the number "4" after the "street style edition part" of the sentence but at the end of the sentence that mentions the "45 S", so from that way we can understand it as CLA 45 S availability is subject to change closer to release, "Canadian model availability to be confirmed closer to launch". Or hopefully, maybe I just have a bad understanding and don't know how to read

I mean, I am not even sure if MB Canada is even bringing the 45 S over let alone the street style edition, because that page doesn't mention "45 S" in the summary section (Updates for CLA from Mercedes-AMG) where as MBUSA's site mentions it so it sounds like the Canadian division doesn't know what they want to do.

Doesn't this say we're getting the new CLA45S in Canada? That's from Mercedes Canada website. And as for CLA45 sales in Canada... I don't think it's low due to low demand... I think you don't see much on the road because it's so hard to get them.

Sounds like another change is that the red interior color is the brighter Pepper Red like the GT series. That’s gonna be interesting.
Wish there was a more realistic video/picture of the hyper blue color as well. Was planning on a Magno Mt Grey color, but the idea of hyper blue is kinda cool haha

Getting some Macan Miami Blue vibes but either way, glad they brought it to the CLA 45 S, In your opinion what are some MB colours you think are very similar to hyper blue?

Previously, insider (I think) posted on the forum mentioned MB Germany was "concerned" about the fuel quality being substandard compared to Europe hence why they never brought the CLA 45 S over, I guess whatever "concern" they had was fixed with some sort of software or hardware patch in the car so it will run USA fuel... "just fine".

I guess the 45 models and the 63 models will be "S" moving forward, as I think MB discontinued the C 63 moniker and left C 63 S for the all new E performance version.

45 and 35 use different engines. However, I think the engine in the 45 might be capable of handling more power. The same M139 is in the C63 S E performance and that's putting out 671 hp, 469 hp from the internal combustion parts. I don't know if the internals are different, my understanding is the M139 already has forged internals.

They can likely get away with that with the electric power filling in torque down low.
