MercedesMe Notifications

Hi All,

I am brand new here. Just picked up my 2019 A220 on Tuesday and so far so good. Has anyone figured out how to completely disable the email notifications when starting the car, locking the doors, etc? I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find the settings to disable email notifications in the app or the website.

Not sure if there is a way or not. I get the emails for all those as well, I just took a look at the app and don't see an option for that.

Well that is disheartening. What a POS. I just submitted a support request. Will see what happens.

I spoke to Mercedes support and currently there is no way to disable specific notifications or notification methods. So it looks like I am going to have to filter the emails for now. The tech I spoke to (who helped the best he could) did say that the developers are working on adding this functionality but did not have a time frame. This is honestly extremely annoying. We pay a lot of money for our cars and should at least have halfway decent software to match it.

I think it's because it's a relatively new app and is also a part of MBUX which is a new infotainment system. They're taking features like notifications as a back seat while putting emphasis on the actual features and reliability of those features.

As a fellow programmer, it makes sense - but I don't necessarily agree with it. The MBUX system has been out long enough along with the NEW app that they can introduce more features. However, I haven't seen any updates to the application at all since I got it some months ago. So it's definitely slow in development.

Does anyone know if the remote start on the A220 will heat up the car, activate the defroster, and turn on the heated seats? I have tried it but i have my doubts.

hey I know this is a old thread but it was driving me crazy getting an email for each notification but finally figured it out. Click on your profile in setting and it’s automatically set to email you can switch it to text instead.
