Instrument cluster backlights turning on and off
Hello,
My A180d 2017 displayed some issues with instrument cluster backlights.
At the beginning of driving the whole dashboard turns off and on, 2-3 times in a row and then returns to normal.
Went to the official dealership but then couldn't find any errors and just upgraded the software version, but it still keeps happening.
Does anyone have any ideas why this keeps happening? The Battery is relatively new (months old)
Has anyone had such problem ?

Will do, thank you for the suggestion I did change the auxiliary battery about a month or more, before this started happening. Little update - I did notice that sometimes (not every time) when dashboard starts flickering the display on climate control also starts flickering.

Just the auxiliary battery, changed it with the same OEM battery that was in there.
I did check the main battery today, and it seems there is a problem with the charging.
So my next step is to check the alternator.

Just an update for anyone reading this as it may be helpful to someone.
It was a problem with the alternator not charging the battery enough, and the mechanic that helped me fix this says it's not the first time he seen this problem with this particular model.

I see, glad to hear it is fixed, curious about how the fix was performed though?
