Just saw an A-class in the USA
I was driving around the suburbs of Greenville, SC, and in front of me out pulls a A-Class Mercedes.....with regular plates on it...
Turned in to the TJ-Max (for some shopping, I guess) a few blocks down.
Anyone know if someone got the greenlight to import these stateside (like the Smartcar?)?

Greenville, SC is kind of an interseting place...The city has a chamber of commerce in Munich to get German businesses to base their US operations here. BMW assembles it's SUVs here, but I don't think MB has a presence here (although I know they assemble their MLs in Alabama)....
I'll keep my eyes peeled for this thing again.

I see an occasional A-Class here with Mexico license plates (usually Chihuahua). The A-Class is sold and serviced throughout Mexico.

I've seen a few A-classes on the road here as well. However they've all had either Michigan Manufacturer plates on them, or Arizona "MT" numbered tags (again Manufacturer). Mercedes seems to do a lot of warm weather testing on a circut between Phoenix, LA, and Las Vegas.
