Hi
Did u recently replace/remove your battery ?
Did u scan it with a scanner and showing any codes ?
Try turn your steering full from left to right and right to left and then center and restart your car see if the BAS/ESP is gone.
For not showing gear indicator it may be the gear selector switch or the auto trans.
I change both to make sure everything goes ok. Does your auto trans working good before ? if yes try just change the gear selector switch 1st.

F on Dash car won't start
HI All,
I have a similar problem my A160 will not start first thing in the morning by 10am it is OK and starts fine. I have been told it is the ECU which I have had replaced and the tranmission yet it drive's great, I have also been told it is the battery. When it does not start there is an F on the dash. Any idea???
It can't be all three it has to be one or the other
