We had +31C (87,8F) outside temperatures last week and it was very nice to preCool cabin +22C (71,6F) via mobile phone.

I would guess that without preCooling, interior temp would have been some +50C (122F).
Big thumb to this feature, recorded a short video:

September?! I'm going to order as soon as the dealer makes me the offer. I was told that it will be delivered at some point in December

These A250e 5drs are produced in Finland Uusikaupunki, so you will save some delivery weeks compared to imported cars if you live in Finland.
But in generally sounds quite a long queque now, mine took only 3,5months.

It might depend on the country and the allocations done by MB.
My dealer said early or end of September. He has got production lines in August and in September.
time delivery for France is 2 weeks after production.
Because of the European taxes of global CO2 emissions all the manufacturers need to deliver as much as possible low emission véhicule before the end of the year.

Tested towing with 600kg (1323lb) heavy load, electric consumption increase was smaller than I expected compared to all-time average.

Hi, sorry to bother you: I have a W177 250e hatchback and I have no spare fuses in the trunk. I just saw in your video you have some fuses and a red plastic item next to the tire air compressor.
Was this stuff included in the car? Is it possible to have a Mercedes p/n for the spare fuses kit ?
Thank you in advance.

Yes, it was there by default, so did not buy it separately. Took a photo, hopefully serial is readable.

Thanks a lot, I think the part number is only referred to the red lid ; by the way, are there more fuses under the red cap?
I just have the tire compressor and sealant, by the way : the only difference compared to my car is that I ordered the Advanced Audio System , so I have the subwoofer in that area

Checked again, there goes actually some red wire to the under red cap, did not want to break it Yes I didn’t take the Advanced Audio System, so that expains the difference here.

Thanks again, maybe it's part of the standard audio system and the red wire is connected to it

Hi,

I ordered my A250e first week of March and I will have my delivered August 21. That is almost 6 month of delivery time. Initially I was to get it delivered in end of June. But Corona struck and Uusikaupunki when on halt for handfull of weeks, if I understod things correctly. It was just 1-2 weeks ago the actual building of the car begun. Now it is stuck on final inspection, maybe summer vaccations are delaying it....

And I cannot go and pick ut up my self at the factory. As a Swede, the finnish border guards will shoot me on sight

I have survived this waiting time looking at your videos on YouTube, Tonde

Charging Port
Does anyone else have the bottom flap of the charging port sealed off?

When I open the port, using the tab on the left, only the top flap opens. There is no second lower tab, just a piece of plastic keeping that bottom flap closed. I understand you need the bottom flap to open to use faster DC charging?

Are there models in the UK where the bottom flap is not meant to open?

I ordered it for Italy and I didn't select the quick charger option: I have the lower port sealed off, too.
But I'm fine with it, since I'm charging the car just from my home at 2.1 kW during the night

Thanks. So there's an option for it which you need to order upfront? Got it. Thanks. I got mine as an ex-demo so I guess they didn't order that option.

Hello,
To have the "combo" plug with the lower tab you must have taken the fast charging option 22kW/h DC. +1000€ in France
If not you have the regular charging solution which is 3,6kW/h AC.
There is also an alternative option which is 7,2kW/h (+600€)

Yes, bottom empty flap is for optional CCS fast charging (DC 24kW).

Depending on country, the stardard charging rate using upper port in either 3,7kW or 7,4kW (Finland we have this as standard in A250e).
7,4kW is very usefull when using public chargers, you can get in 1h ~50km extra range ex. during super market visit. And even better if it’s free charger.

Tested time-based billing charging, pay per minute. With this A250e max charge rate 7,3kW and 0,05€/min on this charger, final cost can be higher than expected because user will pay time (mins) and not actual energy (kWh). See video for details.

Tested netto battery capacity how much there is real usable battery kWh in A250e model.

Test setup and result can be seen in the video which I recorded,
11,804 kWh.
