Good Day to you all.

An A Class Mercedes Owner, who is not impressed by the manufacturer.

First car was brand new and went back to the dealer at least 30 times in the first 3 years.
Then i got a used A Class on a PCP and 2 years later the Media System has stopped working.
Took it to the dealer, who charged a fortune for a diagnostic test.
Told that the Media System has gone wrong and needs replacing.
Contacted Mercedes and was told that its not their problem and i should pay for it myself.

The car is a 67 plate, A Class.
I would not expect the Media System to stop working so soon and its near enough impossible to get past the Customer Services Team when i call.

My question is as follows:

Its not Fair Wear & Tear as the Media System shouldn't stop working so soon. I expect that at 10+ Years.
So what would the Fit for Purpose time be?

Its either working something out with Mercedes or just driving the car back tot he dealer and leaving it there for them to deal with and never get another Mercedes again.

Thanks and sorry for the rant but its gone on for over a year now and driving me mad.
