Be aware of Virtual Junkyard
Here is my story.
Three months ago, I found the company, Virtual Junkyard, in Texas selling used body kit, headlight, taillight... I contacted David Munoz, the sales, and to order a 99 AMG front bumper for E-class. He asked me to send them a check as payment. I thought it is OK, because it is a company at that time....
I sent them the check on 2/5/05, and received a bumper on 2/20/05. But, it is a CLK W208 AMG bumper, NOT for E-class. I contacted David again. He promised me I will get the right bumper "next" week. However, nothing!!! I tried to call him many times, almost everyday after a week. He rarely answers my phone call. When he accidently answers, he always tell me, "let me check out what is going on, and call me 30 minutes later", and hangs up rapidly. Of course, he would not answer my phone again. I also write him email, the same thing, no response. I just keep calling and leaving message...
Now, my money is gone, and I got a CLK bumper occupying space....
My friend told me, I can't do anything with it. First, I can't sue them from California. Second, it is not fraud, because they did send me a bumper, just wrong. I felt so frustrated about it. If anyone knows what I can do, please advice me. Also, if anyone looks for bumper, headlight... whatever, be careful with them.

I think the right way is return it, and ask them to refund me... but, I guess I will never get the money back....

I am not sure if Bissonnet and Alabama are the real address they use.
However, Richmond is the address I sent the check, and Woodsbrige is the other address Jason asked me to send the check.
Thank you very much!
Ben
Based on BBB files, Virtual Junkyard is not a menber of BBB and has an unsatisfactory record.
I am going to file a complaint first!
The following link is the information on Better Business Bureaus' website.

I think you should first fill out this form for a small case court. http://www.courtinfo.ca.gov/cgi-bin/forms.cgi
Form Sc-100
Double you damages in the claim. For example bumper was $1000 + shipping $200, then make it $2400. Don't file it yet.
Then you mail him a copy overnight and call him next day. Tell him that California business law requires a plaintiff to try to negotiate with defended the suit outside of the court. Ask him if he's willing to mail you TODAY your money back. Tell him if your not getting the Certified Check in 3 business days sh*t goes to court. Do not negotiate do not talk, 1 sentence "Hey (*******s name) i will file a law suit again you in the State of California if I'm not going to get my money back in 3 business days". If no fine file a claim it's so easy and i can help you with that. He will have to fly to Cali and attend the small claims court otherwise he will loose a case and pay you $2400. If he sends you a check, once you cash it out, send him a invoice for $200 "for storage" ( you can get this damages in Cali ) and tell him once he pays it you will gladly send him his bumper. If he pays (some people do) send him another invoice for shipping and handling for $150 ( cmon you not going to go to the postal office for free) if he's not gonna do it, tell him to feel free and pick it up. Make sure you mention that you usually charge everybody $30 dollars to store such items in your garage ....anyways there are some many ways to **** people off....I love cali laws.
