About to sell her (only ever drive the benz now) and just thought I'd drop this on here to see if anyone's interested.

Here are some pics, it was dark but it's what I have at the moment .. I'm in the SF Bay area .. A dealer offered $3k but I thought I'd try private first .. dealers obviously low ball (I understand why but they do).

Anyway, if interested .. make me an offer and drop me a line at getonwithit01@aol.com ..

(FYI .. tried to post the pics but they were too big ... sorry .. if interested I'll e-mail em!)

Very nice ride and it would make a great project car, but is that interior stock? Seems like someone bled to death in it.

Hey Shaw,

Have you posted this on the 300zx club forums yet? here's the link:

http://www.300zxclub.com/

There's always someone looking for a TT on there, so you shouldn't have much trouble. If your car wasn't white I'd be interested, I'm just not a white car fan.

Drivin the Benz now ..

Have an S500 (sport package ) and pretty much drive it everywhere now .. the Z is mostly stock .. the only changes are the exhaust (HK dualies .. pretty rare but look GREAT, no pea shooters here but no big single pipes on each side either), stereo, speakers (amp under pass. seat) and the turbo's were clipped & had the angle of attack changed when rebuilt to spool up faster.

Feel free to e-mail me if interested, will tell you all about her .. and thanks for the tip on the 300zx forum, will post it there today!

Wow ..
Hate to blow my own horn but I've been looking at other z's same year (tt of course) for sale and saw one for $3k NOT RUNNING and another for $15k .. better milage .. I wasn't sure about the price but I feel pretty good about it now! My girl runs and looks wonderful

On the down side, the 300ZX forum takes forever to allow me to post .. will see if I get some action there once it is accepted on the site!

I know, the moderator over there is a real stickler for rules, especially in the classified section. Trust me your price will get some takers, z's are tremendous automobile's

thanks, I think so too .. I chedked her on KBB and she books out at $7,700 with milage .. so I know my price is more than fair .. but some of these people are just asking way too much for their Z's! I love my car, but $15k for a 1990? Hey, more power to him if he gets it!

They are great cars but it's hard to find the tt's! Sounds like you got a good price too .. I would keep her but I don't drive her at all since I got the benz .. and I can't justify sitting on her .. taking up a space in the garage .. there is no way I'll just put her outside to rust out in the elements.

Anyway .. I kept her so long because I can't for the life of me think of any sports car I could get under $50k to replace her .. hopefully whoever takes over will enjoy .. I have a few hits already .. no one quite committed yet but the price doesn't seem like a problem .. so we'll see!

This will sound retarded ..
But every car I've sold thus far has been to someone I've known or the dealer .. I have someone wanting to pick up the Z tomorrow .. obviously a check is a no-no .. cash perfect .. but should I be worried about a KC or Money order?

I'm actually quite embarrasssed to even ask, it seems obvious but since I know so many on this board are more knowledgable in selling their own vehicles than I asking seemed the smart thing to do.

Thanks.

bump ..
had two people interested and asked me to hold it but both have fallen through so i'm putting her back up on the list!

FYI .. I've been looking around and the closest thing pricewise is a 90' z, twin turbo for $3k NOT RUNNING ..

People are asking $10-15k for 90-91's which I think is crazy .. mine books at $7,700 (milage and condition all taken into account) and I am selling for $4 .. it's a good deal for a great car!

Money orders are the one that can be forged sometimes, but most of the time a certified check or MO is perfect. If someone's trying to scam a car buy they won't get far---remember they have to register your old car, they're not going anywhwere just be patient and i'm sure that car will sell.

Your right about the 300zx, i look at sports cars all the time and unless i'm spending a ton they just don't measure up
