Lightbulb FS: Brabus 6 piston front big brake kit

FS: Brand new Brabus mono 6 piston front big brake kit. Complete kit including Brabus stainless steel brake lines, two piece rotors, 6 pot calipers and pads. It will fit R230 and probably W208, W210, W211, C219. Can also fit W203 and W209 with modification. Retails from Brabus for ~10K. Made by Alcon in England. Very impressive stopping power.

Asking for $3800 firm.
Local So Cal pickup definitely preferred.

Alcon specializes in making clutches and brakes for most race teams. I've seen them on racing Audi and C-coupes that were raced on the 2004 SCCA SPEED World Challenge Touring Car Championship. Better than Brembo IMO. See if you can spot the Alcon brakes on the pictures in this thread. (bump)

Just to clarify, this is a brand new kit. Never been installed. The one installed on my car is my own set. If you want to see them in person you can PM me.

Hardrivr- I may be interested in your amg brake kit. how many miles on the rotors? Im also local, in the south bay. Maybe I can purchase your amg brakes to subsidize your purchase on the brabus kit?

Why would you want to change your 8-piston front brakes to the 6-piston alcon brakes (other than the reduced weight of the caliper and rotor). The front alcon brake will mismatch the rear AMG brakes.

Yeah, I think the W211 E55 has 8 pot front brakes, 4 pot rear. Not really an upgrade for you W211 E55 people. But, other W211, R230, and C219 cars will benefit, esp. non-AMG models.

I miss read you ad, I thought it was a COMPLETE front and rear kit... I would love to have brabus complete kit just in an attemtp to convert my car to a brabus, but just the fronts, yea not a good idea for me... now if I would have bought the E500 with the body kit I was checking out... HUH... that would have been cool!

You need a custom caliper mounting bracket made. It is usually machined from billet T6 aluminum. I had these made for mine. You will also need at least 18" wheels minimum.

BUMP: Still available. Asking for $3000 for the front 6 piston big brake kit. I also have the rear 4 piston big brake kit. It is $5500 for both the front and rear brake kits together. These brake components are made by Alcon Racing in England.
