$200 is a bit steep considering there are much better bixenon projectors out there now.

$200 is a very good price for RS6, they're not that easy to find. With a little washer mod (not doable w/ the E55), they produce amazing light & color. There is only ONE type of bi-xenon projector out there that's a bit better than the RS6: the Acura TL projector, and they run about $350-400/pair.

Would you pls show me any bi-xenon projector out there that's better than the RS6 ?? I hope you don't mean the Bosch bi-xenon (found on BMW or late model Benz C/S class), they're junk.

Look at what the RS6 stock and mod can produce compared to other projector. This is with same bulb & ballast

raymond i'll get to you in a little bit as well.....i've had serveral emails about the projectors but the guy i bought them from might exchange it for me but he'll fill me in soon.......

as far as the price its a fair price........nothing over priced and if it is then you should look at cheaper projectors......

Yeah, the Acura TL's projectors are real bright and kinda bluish from far away. I feel bad for the cars lacking auto-dimming rear-view mirror driving in front of the TL.

....and as nice as the TL may be, it requires *much* more effort/labor to fit
that into an E320 Depo housing. The E55 can almost be done blindfolded.
The RS6 is the next easiest, I'm told, and with better spread than the E55s.

raymond, if you could help me out on this it would be great. It seems that you have done these installs before. If I were to get the W203 bi-xenon style updated headlights, would I be able to install projectors such as these RS6's in there instead of the ones that come with? Or would it be possible to install these projectors in the stock updated '05 halogen housing? If you can send me some info. it would be so appreciated!

ahh, but i am only Luke....to Zam's Yoda. he's the Jedi master with the light
saber. I've not handled any 203 headlight shells so unsure the mounting
points, space considerations, dimensions relative to the projector(s) desired.
IOW... I don't know. I looked on Ebay a little and saw that there appeared to
be Depo lights for w203s. there was even a damaged OEM about 15 mins
from me but he was asking $200 starting...incl ballast and D2S. Someday, if
I ever get my hands on one, I can take a look inside.

Looks very promising though...much more so than folks on HIDPlanet who try to
fit projectors into non-projector reflector housings.
