FS: Hella HID set, no Xenon Present setting required, plug and play

I removed my aftermarket Hella HID set and replaced them with Bi-Xenons...not because I wanted a better light, just because I liked the look of the Bi-Xenons. To be honest, the Hella's provided much better light.

The system includes the bulbs, ballasts, and resistors to allow to it bypass the Xenon present requirement for the Mercedes. I had these on my car for over 2 years without any problems. All the wires are set and ready, all you need to do is mount the ballast and the resitors and plug the lights in. I paid over $750 for the set, I'm looking for best offer. I can provide pics of the kit but I don't have pics of the lights on (I'm an idiot and forgot to take some). They are crazy bright, a nice white. I'm told they are 8300K.

If you have a C-Coupe, I have the headlights as well and I am willing to sell them as a set if you want.

If there is interest I'll post pics, if not I'll just keep the set in the garage and figure out what to do with them later.

Excuse the leaves and the cement floor, I didn't want to bring a dirty part like this in the house. From what I can tell it has the ballasts, resistors, extra wires that I have no clue what they are for, mounting brackets, bulbs, and some wires from the bulbs, I assume to plug into the ballasts.

I don't know much about cars/lights so if you have any super technical questions about them, I don't think I can help. They were pulled (working) yesterday.

Any other questions feel free to ask. I'm accepting BO.

Thanks,
Erik

This was 2 years ago, you couldn't get a basic HID kit for under $500-600, even on ebay. Now full kits are $125 on ebay...but like I said I'm accepting BO.

This is Hella ballasts....good stuff....German made....just like Philips and Oscram.

If you want $125 kits, that will be China-made kits....and you take ur chance on quality.

Btw...the resistors, can you explain where that is hooked up? How big a resistor did you use? Want to learn about how you defeated going to dealership to set Xenon=present by using a resistor.

I wish I could, I know nothing about electronics. I paid the shop, they did the work, I didn't ask too many questions.

alboogiee - replied, and I will follow up.

Thanks,
Erik
