For Sale: BRAND NEW 19" staggered Speedy Envy wheels with tires

Guys and gals....

I'm considering selling this BRAND SPANKIN' NEW set of 19" staggered fitment Speedy Envy wheels. With or without tires.

Here's the story. Why am I selling brand new wheels?

My unbelievable wife did an unbelievable thing. She surprised me with this set of wheels and tires as an anniversary gift. She has seen me scouring the internet the last couple of months searching and searching for a set of wheels that I liked. Well, I purchased a set about a month ago and when they arrived the center bore was too small and I had to send them back. I then purchased a completely different set after that and they came with the wrong bolt pattern. Talk about frustrated!!! So I returned those and gave up for a while. My wife looked through my computer at some bookmarks I had set for various wheels and she liked these so she purchased them for me, along with a set of tires from tire rack. She had them both drop-shipped at our local Mr.Tire for mounting and balancing and then brought them home in our truck the night before our anniversary. Well, I was very stunned that she had gone through all of this trouble but what she didn't know is that I'm not a fan of the HyperBlack (darkish silver) color on wheels. I love the style, just not the color. Luckily she's not flipping out that I want to sell these and get something else.

Here's where it gets interesting...

As you know, you can't return wheels once tires have been mounted. And to complicate things further, Mr. Tire nicked two of the wheels when installing the tires. The nicks are very small, just a couple of millimeters at the most but I thought important to disclose this.

Anyway, on to the details about the wheels.

Speedy Envy in Hyperblack...Dark silver...whatever you want to call it

19X8.5 front with 2" lip
19X9.5 rear with 3" lip
5-112 bolt pattern
38 offset
67.1 mm center bore

Tires are General Exclaim UHP (Highest rated tire on tirerack for this class of tire)

245/35 - front
275/30 - rear

Wheels were 1099.00 plus (125.00 shipping) - I have the original boxes.
Tires were 585.00 shipped.

I'm asking 1399.00 plus shipping for both or 899.00 plus shipping for the wheels only.

There are absolutely ZERO miles on these wheels and tires. You can still see the goop on the tires from when they were mounted.

Local buyers get first crack at them, as shipping them is a pain in the ****. I can even meet part-way for semi-local buyers.

I have a paypal account if you wish to pay by credit card. I'm an honest seller and will put these on eBay if there is no interest here. I have a +200 feedback on eBay with 100% positive rating.

Email me if interested. I have bigger, higer-res photo's if interested

I'm new to the Mercedes world so please don't ask me if they will fit your particular model. I have no idea. They were purchased for a 2004 E500. Luke at tirerack is a great resource for these types of questions and you can post that question in the tire forum on this site.

Yeah,

I just might. Maybe use them as my winter wheels. I was really hoping to put a mesh design wheel on and I'm not crazy about the dark silver. But the more I look at the pic with them right up against my car, the more I'm starting to like them. I don't know. If nobody on here falls in love with them, maybe I'll just keep them as a backup set.

Me=bad husband
her=awesome wife

We're perfect together. Opposites attract!

I would keep them because every time I walked up to my car it would remind me of all the work she went through and how much she cares about me.

Alternatively, you could sell the wheels just stick a naughty photo of her on the sunvisor and flip it down for a peek every time you get in.

Who says I already don't have a photo in my visor!!

Seriously though,

My wife and I have been together for about 10 years now and a couple of years ago we came to an agreement that we both stick to. If we ever buy a present for the other and that person either wants to return it for something else or just plain don't like it we'll let the other know. It's taken the pressure off of gift giving, I can tell you that. There's only so many can't miss gifts like rolexes and jewelry I can afford to give her.

You know, that's actually a pretty good idea. Having never actually BEEN in a relationship, I don't think anyone should ever take my advice on the subject. Well, I can give pretty good advice on the naughty stuff. But anyhow, next time you should get her a pave hello kitty watch like this one:

you're in luck!

I would be interested in the rims. I have a 1997 C280 and I would like to know if they would fit. I'll post the question to luke in the forum. I would also be interested in buying the ones you already have on the car if they fit. either or, I need a set of rims. I'll email you and keep the convo going. I have more questions.

Benz Rider,

I've sent you an email.

Right now, I'm only interesting in selling the 19's. I'm gonna keep the stock ones as winter wheels.

You can call tirerack. Anyone there should be able to tell you your bolt pattern and offset range.

To my understanding, staggered set up will not fit on your car. But not 100% sure.

HEY!!!

Get your own thread!!

For all of you on the West Coast that are interested in these. I took the wheels to UPS and they're quoting about 250.00 shipping. Of course, if the wheels are purchased without tires, shipping will be much cheaper.

Anyway, gonna give it about another week here, then off to eBay!

I may just end up keeping them as a spare set, we'll see. My new wheels should be here at the end of the week, courtesy of Derrick at D2 Autosport. If they don't sell here or eBay, I'll just use them as a spare winter set.

Hey... can anyone drop these on my car so I can see...? Price is really nice... I too wanted to go with a BSS LM type wheel (web design) but hell... $1400 for wheels and tires? My car is a 06 E350. Obviously this is a pictured "borrowed" from ebay... Gotta love the Pewter

Just an FYI....

I got my other new wheels put on today and I stole the tires off of these. So now the sale would be for wheels only. They will be shipped in the original boxes. The good news is, without the tires the shipping will be so much cheaper.

Giddy up!

Somebody buy these things already!

Seriously.. how much to Atlanta door step?

"Man.. I met this HOT girl last night and we starting talking about wild stuff and she tells me she loves when her and her girlfriend."

Yeah.. .see what I mean... PICS MAN... PICS

I know, I know. Promise to post them on Monday.

I had to go to a funeral today.....yuck, and tomorrow I'm going to the drag strip to watch my brothers 8 second El Camino blast down the track. So, Monday.

Derrick at D2 Autosport hooked me up with a set of MRR GT1's.

As for the Envy's. Um.........

Shipping to the West Coast is 250.00 with tires, so I would think shipping to Hotlanta, wheels only, would be about 100.00, maybe? So how about 850.00 shipped to your door. They'll be shipped in the original boxes, and remember, these things have exactly ZERO miles on them, zero.

Let me know. PM me though, so we can take this offline.

Chicken....bock, bock, bock, bagock!!!

OH, I forgot.

My new wheels are also 19's. I didn't believe it when all these other people that are running 19's said that the ride isn't compromise but it isn't. I couldn't believe it. And this is gonna sound like I'm off my rocker but I think it rides a bit better. Handling is rediculous now and just the overall feel is better. I don't know, maybe I've been hitting the crack pipe too hard.
