That came off of the Kleeman C32k that the same seller has for sale. I was looking into buying it, they were asking 19,995 with the s/c, intercooler, rims, suspension, everything. I didnt think it was a bad price but they had another person with a deposit while i was shopping and then that seller backed out. I had bought my C320 so i couldn't get the kleeman one. Anyway, the C32 amg makes somewhere around 20 or so more hp than the kleeman, i dont remember exactly.

it said the bidding would end on oct-19... i made a bid yesterday, i was the 3rd bidder.... it had 9bids by today and all of the sudden the bidding ended when it was only going for 1000+....
This thing is less than one hour away from me...i send the seller a msg. yestarday and waiting for a reply, i want this so bad!

If it sounds too good to be true...there's probably something wrong with it.
Note how he says how "all components are as removed." WTF does that mean? Does it work or not, was it working? Also, it's being re-sold on ebay, forget about Kleeman providing a warranty on it. Kleeman kits can have their own sets of problems like a leaking intercooler core or bearings wearing out. People are better off passing on this and getting a Kleeman kit from an authorized dealer. 0-60 in under 6 seconds.

Damn it. I'll chime in now, I saw this right away and talked with Brandon at Kleemann for about half hour on Friday but was staying low, I was all set to esnipe this thing in a few days and send it up to CO along with my car. Brandon guessed at a minimum of a few thousand dollars this thing needed to get running again properly. I got the story on this supercharger from Kleemann...they built the C320 back in 01, the car changed hands a few times and now it's on ebay. These guys screwed up the supercharger and could not get it to work right, thus the reason it is not on the car and was listed seperately (I do like how they have C32 on the trunk of a C320 and a Kompressor engine cover on a non Kompressor car

yeah, i made a bid and when i realized it was less than 1 hour away from me I emailed the seller asing him if he was interested in me driving overthere so i could negotiate and see it..but havnt gotten a reply.
For now I am aiming towards the AMG supercharger and retrofiting it on my engine.... I have done my home work on it and shoudnt be too hard....
I just cant justify burning 10K+ on a supercharger kit alone... I got quoted from C2Design a wopping $13,000 for the kleemann kit installed..

I just think its too much money, if it was something like $6k plus labor, it would be a whole different story.. but 10K plus labor is stupid...maybe thats why they never sold too many in the first place..

I emailed them on the car listing, calling them out on the C32K, asking about the delisting and said lets make a deal on the supercharger. The reply I got is pasted below...I hope the guy in MI who bought this knows what he got and didn't overpay, otherwise look for it on ebay again in a month when he can't get it running.
OJwerks: I'd be interested to find out what you have come up with in putting the AMG kit on and how safe this really is. The Kleemann kit is proven, I'd be scared to death to screw up my motor. Maybe you know something I don't, would you share your information?

slapping a used c32 supercharger on a 320 motor is not worth the headache involved. The AMG S/c runs on high boost and their engines are made for this boost. There is a person with a CLK 430 or 500 that installed a supercharger. He has lots of headaches and still has not solved all the problems he has with it.

Also, if you think you can save a lot of money by buying just a used C32 supercharger and retrofitting it to a high boost C320 motor, you should try adding up the cost for everything. (Intake manifold, plenums, water recirculation system, ECU). It won't be cheaper, unless you get your parts for free from the dealership.

No computer issues, it was more a fuel issue more than anything else. Josh @ HOP fixed the issues by adding a boost a pump, and a FMU. Up next is to install a larger Fuel pump, colder plugs and to get split second to tweak the software just a bit.

I just realized that the "gentleman from Michigan" is probably Sunman who got this for his C320....if so, good job, interesting what conditions this actually ends up.

I have easy access to used intake plenums and some of the other "missing parts"... I am not going to use the water-cooled system, as we are only going to run 6-7lbs of boost out of it with a custom pulley i am getting done.. but WE ARE going to use water-methanol injection instead...
I already have the vortech 12:1 FMU, Kenne-bell boost a pump, IK16 spark plugs and magnacor racing wires as well as Split Second unit i need to retard timing...etc.
i never said this was easy, but it sure isnt "impossible" if you have a clue as to what you are doing.... only thing that has me un suspense is how many lights are going to lid up in my dashboard when i have this running

no space for a centrifugal unless you go with something like a Rotrex and do some VERY CUSTOM work, and the low boost kit is not worth the time or money for the HP you get imo....
anyways, I already found an amg supercharger for a more than decent price with VERY low miles... and have many of the parts mentioned sitting at home... for now all i need is to start gathering all the other bits and pieces needed for me to "bolt" this to the motor..... ill keep you guys posted on a seperate thread.
