Foose rims for E 500

I have 4 beautiful Foose Speedster rims I would like to sell. Staggered 18 x 8.5 and 18 x 9.5. These were on my just traded in E500 sport. They really make the car come alive. I paid $1700 will sell for $650 or best offer. So Cal only. Here is the web site to see what they look like.

http://www.chipfoose.com/wheels.aspx

They are in very good condition. Sorry tires are totally worn. I will send pic of wheels to anyone interested. I'm not sure how to post pic on forum.

foose rims

They are chrome. The offset according to Discount Tire is 30 front and 36 rear.

I no longer live in Newport, recently moved to Oceanside. Bigger house for a lot less money.

These wheels and tires are huge and heavy so shipping might cost a fortune. There is also the money exchange problem.

They were on a black E 500. They give the car a more muscle car look.

I will try and put a picture up later so you can see them.

if your willing to ship, perhaps we can work something out? just remove the tires if they are as bad as you say and ship in boxes.. it'll prolly be about 80 to ship all 4 rims.
as for the money exchange..why is that a problem? do you have paypal? i can send you money instantly and i am verified...
pics on the car would be awesome if you could...

thanks!
Aj

foose rims

here is a pic of one of the rims. Sorry I never took pics of them on the car. I may have but can't find them. Too many grandkids pics now on my computer.

My problem with the shipping is I now have an SLK, way to small to load up the rims and get them to a tire shop. But where there is the will there is a way. Your right the money part could be worked out.

In my experiences, shipping wheels will cost more than $80. It will probably be in the neighborhood of $150-$200.

Maybe a buddy with a SUV/pickup can lend a hand for a one-way trip to the tire shop. Same tire shop may be willing to box and arrange shipping in exchange for the old tires (if they have any resale value).

Just a thought.

Thats a good idea, the tires aren't worth anything but my local discount tire guys might be able to box and ship them for a small price. I have spent thousands of dollars with them. I just need to get them over there. I could get a truck from home depot.

Dude, if you've spent thousands of dollars over there and already have a relationship. Maybe just call someone that you are cool with over there and explain your situation and nicely ask them to pick up the wheels from your place maybe when somebody makes a run for parts in the shop pickup truck.

If they are getting the old tires and/or a few bucks for packing, then I'm sure they wouldn't mind doing that for a good customer like yourself. That's just good business.

Yea your right. I would prefer to sell locally to avoid the hassle but I am going to go over to discount and see what the real cost will be in case the current guy or someone else out of state wants to buy them.

As far a holding out for a local buyer, it could be a while. Hey, like they say: a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.

If the scenario I laid out works out:

- You call local place to pickup wheels
- Tire shop removes tires and packs and labels wheels
- You call UPS and arrange pickup

It seems like all you have to do is make 2 phone calls.
