Luxury sedans and the 2003-2004 sport sedans had a 4 prong steering wheel. One of the 2004.5 updates was the 3 prong steering wheel.

Are you meaning the spokes on the steering wheel? If thats what you mean than yes it has to be a 3 spoke like the one pictured. Since they have to use there stock airbag it would be hard to get the 4 spoke one to fit on the 3 spoke wheel I believe it will fit 2004.5 and up.

From the looks of the design, I don't know if this would fit properly on my car either. If it weren't in the shop, I'd take some pics.
