I have 2 of these......I would be willing to move to $25USD/each shipped within NAmerica.......that's about 1/3 the cost.........perfect for Alpine swaps, etc.....

i dont see why people would pay $30 for this kit when they can search for the american international kit and pay only $10 for a new one. aren't they the same?

No they are not. These are Metra manufactured kits. Some others have poor fitment and the plastic tends to warp after awhile (from what I have gathered)....

i am interested, but have been trying to find evidence to convince myself that the metra kit is better than american international and i can't find any. there is a thread for an DIY installation for the avic z1 and it actually says the american international is better than "others":

i also called tweeter and they told me that all the kits are the same, its just preference

. if you can convince me that this kit is better then i will buy it.
