FS: Uber Rare 1990 560SEC AMG (Eurospec)
Its got a hair over 59k miles on it (95k kms). I'm the second owner. This is the non 6.0L V8 "Hammer" version of the AMG. This car is all original except the tires are no longer Pirelli, they're a Bridgestone/Dunlop combo, and the Pioneer CD head unit which has replaced the oldschool cassette deck. There've been no accidents or any spots of rust on the vehicle. It has only been summer driven and garage stored over the winter. A/C blows cold (refilled last year). Castrol Syntec 10w50 with original Benz filters every year since my ownership. Plugs recently replaced (last summer), Spitfire spark plug wires, new distributor, cap etc. There are 3 small flaws that I'd like to mention: (a) The dash pod clock doesn't keep time very well (b) the sunroof does not move as fluidly as it use to and (c) there's a tiny bit of "sag" in the headliner (~1/4"). I'd consider these small flaws since I'm just very picky.

(I'm being relocated by my company, so any storage here is at a limited capacity) Vehicle is currently insured for $35K. If I can sell this to someone who can appreciate the heritage & pedigree of this vehicle, then I'm willing to sacrifice this beauty for $25K obo.

wait, what do you mean non 6.0L AMG Hammer? Do you mean that it has a non-AMG motor, or just not the 6.0 AMG motor? If not, which one? It is obviously SOHC, but in terms of displacement?

FLYNAVY - its not the 6L 32V AMG motor. Its the 5.6L SOHC V8 that's been tweaked by AMG (ie: the AMG cams and slightly higher C/R pistons). One of my friends has a 1991 Euro 560 SEC with just slightly more mileage, when we checked his compression, it was lower then mine (but even). Did some # crunching and it turns out that my motor is about 10.5:1 vs. the 10:1 on the regular MB motor. Plus this has helluva midrange and high rpm pull, which would indicate the slightly higher lift cams.

this is a phat SEC. whoever buy this car should buy my clear/red tail lights that i took off my old 560SEL to update the rear look of this beautiful SEC. i love everything on your car except the red reflector behind the license plate anyways g luck with the sale

Do you have any documentation on the heritage? looks like a standard euro spec 560 SEC with AMG rims, AMG Steering wheel, and AMG exhaust. That version of bodykit (no AMG mark) makes it unclear, it could be one of the earlier bodykits, or a fake. The fake AMG badge looks really bad on the car.
Car looks nice otherwise, but it's pretty hard to sell at that price without any documentation.

that w126 coupe would look much more updated if the red relector under the license plate was deleted or more so if someone buys my w126 red/clear tails that are still up for sale.... the red/orange ones are just outdated imo but ya nice car tho
