...........thanks for the props. If it was a V8 with a Kleemann s/c, it will NOT be $15K. Even at $15k, it is dirt cheap. Same price as a regular CLK320. Somebody is going to get a deal of a lifetime. Over $40K in mods alone.

Ugh, that's one of the main reasons why I stopped modifying my cars. Reselling it is a total nightmare.

Great car though, you were definitely one of the first pioneers.

............thanks. It is very interesting the crop of characters that come out of the wood work when you are selling a nice car. For me, I completely understand that I will not get the money back that I put into the mods. As a result, I have not asked for it and have instead advertised the car for the same price as a similarly equiped stock CLK320. I was basically hoping that some smart person will grab himself/herself a hell of a bargain. I have had tons of enquiries, but Interestingly I have talked to only very few people who actually understand what a Kleemann is to begin with.

you should pull everything off and put it to stock then sell the parts seperately the only way to get something back and the car will sell quicker too-

.........you are right that I will get more cash doing it the way you suggested, but the car won't sell any quicker. I just don't want the hassle. The car sells with 24 hrs of ebay listing. The problem is the nature of ebay.........non paying bidders which will not be any different if the car was back to stock. A non paying bidder is a non paying bidder
