Guys.. I have a set of Brand new 19" AMG Multi-piece wheels that came off a brand new SL55.. The owner swapped wheels for something different.

These wheels list at $2,501.00 for each rear wheel and $2,432.00 for each front wheel up here in Canada.

They are Part # 6-6-03-1361 (9.5 X 19") and Part # 6-6-03-1360 (8.5 x 19")

Would they fit to a 06 E55?

 

There are 2 or 3 members on this board that run the SL65 gunmetal wheels on their E55 so I am pretty sure these will work without any issues (these are exactly the same except they are brilliant silver instead of the gunmetal).

I Have the same Silver 19 inch rims on the Wifes W211 and they fit PERFECT!
also the rims are SILVER on the 030 option cars..

 

Yea, they'll fit, the exact offset RECOMMENDED for the E55 W211 is 29 in front and 35 in the rear, but these would be close enough with no problem

How many miles on the SL before the wheels were replaced?

As far as I know the car is a brand new 55.. it has delivery miles only. The wheels are still sitting at the dealer. The car never left the dealer with the original wheels on it. He had them swap his new wheels before he took delivery of the car.

Yup.. you definitely dont want to wreck a wheel on a SL65 or SL55 w/performance package.. They are $2,500 each to replace.

Tire rack sells them for 1/2 what the dealership sells them for. I think they are about 1300 a wheel from tire rack. Still an ok deal but not the 1/2 off deal it may seem. Not sure tire rack has the non gunmetal centers but I know they have the gunmetal centers from the SL65.

You can get the fronts for 1149 right now from tire rack. Not sure why they dont show rears though.

For 4k you should be getting tires with those wheels. 4k is the going price for take off wheels from the SL55 PP and SL65 with like new tires. They are up on e-bay regularly.

I was under the impression that you could not get these wheels unless you proved ownership of an SL55/Sl65 through the VIN#. Yeah, I'm sure there are ways around this and maybe this policy does not apply anymore, but that's how it was when these F1 wheels first came out on the SL...
