Airline Tickets (LAX to Taipei)

Guys,

I won an EVA Air Economy Deluxe round trip ticket from LAX to Taipei (Economy deluxe is a lot better than economy, trust me). It will be valid till Sept 13 2004.

There are some blackout dates, which i dont have it with me right now.

These tickets does not accure frequent flier miles.

If anyone of you is interested, pls pm me.

I am asking for $700 obo

$700 is a little steep for that route, unless deluxe economy really is much better than regular economy. What are the differences?

Xeon, I've recently flown Sing Air's economy (sardine can, but great entertainment system), Raffles (nice!), and got lucky once and found myself in First (corian counter top in the bathroom!)

Just for future reference, how does the econ deluxe compare? I'd imagine it as a cross between econ and Raffles, of course, but tell me more please.

the ED is located in the first place where singapore airlines put their first class.

It is in the front third of the plane. I guess they have about 16 rows (if my memory doesnt fails me, from 21 to 37-38).

it is indeed a crossover between economy and raffles.

For your information, singapore airline's economy is way smaller than ED. I would say, 4 singapore economy seats will equate to 2-3 ED. It can recline lower and is further from the seat infront.

Obviously, it cant compete with Raffles class, but again, the price is so much different.

The only disadvantage of ED is that it does not have a great inflight system. No games, not a huge selection of videos. Food-wise, it is more "tradtional chinese" compared to the Economy class of SQ.

well, try flying it one time, and you will NEVER go back to economy. Trust me!

Thanks for the info. I would try it, but the price has to be somewhat close to econ, else the expense would be rejected by corporate.

i double checked with eva air.

They said that as long as the coupon does not clearly state that upgrade is prohibited, it is allowed.

the 3 conditions on the tickets are

1) no commercial value
2) cannot be replaced
3) seats subject to availability

pls update me of your interest

everyone says economy deluxe on eva isnt bad..... and that its quite spacious. is it almost as big as SQ raffles? cuz im a big guy and i find economy class really uncomfortable.
