2002 CLK320
KBB in Richmond Virginia is $35k for Private party, in San Francisco slighty more at around $37k.
Perfect condition or not, you're asking for way too much to begin with.

One thing I've found is that even if you have the best price in the country people will still feel ripped off if they don't get you to come down off of your asking price. I know I kind of feel that way. On the other hand, the market is so soft that if you aren't a dealer who can offer a Starmark warranty you may need to be darn near the lowest price just to get a single call on the car. The red is such a unique / rare C32 color that the right buyer may be willing to pay a slight premium to get that exact color combination. Free bump.

I work for the largest used car chain in the country
Kbb is really not an indicator of market value
plus I am willing to negotiate, and like you said come down off my asking price
and yes it is a VERY rare color combination
noone on c32life has even seen this color combo in person that I"ve talked too yet

No longer car shopping...
Used some common sense!
BlackThorn - YOU "work" for one of the largest used car dealer's in the COUNTRY and don't realize that the black book value on that car is SOO much lower? The guys on here aren't idiots. There's a REASON that your having a hard time moving it at that price. Think about it. If you REALLY want to move it, throw it out here with your "Bottom line, take it or leave it pricing". That's what I did to move my 2001 CLK55 recently. This forum is NOT some scummy used car dealership lot (I don't care how BIG it is) and the poor salesmanship tactics of going back and forth bartering WILL NOT WORK HERE. Just thought I'd help.

Its tough to get a quick sale even at KBB private party value. If you need to sell it quickly, you may have to consider something closer to KBB trade in value. Price it north of KBB private party value and it will take time.

im entitled to my opinion. especially when some guy is a new member who just posts to try and sell a used car. why bother if you supposedly work at a dealership? maybe you should stop posting.

of course you're with him, you're a troll, look at all the useless crap you post
one line responses, usually inflamatory to other members here
ndabunka: I do "WORK" as you put it, for one of the largest used car dealers in the COUNTRY, (is your caps lock button broken?) or do you have a problem controlling the volume of your voice and you like to relate it in text?
the car dealership I work for dosen't use those poor salesmanship tactics that you TALK ABOUT (haha)
I'm getting hits on the car, I've already had 3 people look at it and tell me it's a good price
not to mention in the post before yours I did throw out, what I consider a pretty decent price
try reading the thread before you jump on the posting bandwagon
the bottom line for me is you're bumping it and I keep getting emails from other members here interested in my car, so I do really apprecaite the bumps
thanks!!

The fact of the matter is that he is selling his very nice and rare car for a price that fits him. Maybe just cause you and the other broke ***'s cant afford it makes you mad and you feel the need to post negative things in his thread out of jelousy. If you have nothing to contribute to his thread then go somewhere else.

A bucket on wheels
^^^ they were trying to help out the guy. they said that the price is a bit high adn to lower it if he wants to sell it. The people on this forum know how much a car is worth and are some of the wealthiest people so dont even go there bro. You have 1 post count. what makes you think people care what you have to say?
