Hey guys, I thought I would let everyone know that we are trying to clear out our 2004 inventory of C230 Sport Coupes. We will be discounting all of these in stock $4k below dealer invoice and are offering extremely low financing rates (1.9%) until further notice! Please let me know if anyone is interested or stop by and see me, just ask for Mark in the Marketing Dept.

Not quite as aggressive, but very close! On the Sport Sedan you are looking in the neighborhood of $3500 to $3700 below! Feel free to stop by the store if you are interested. BTW, the interest rate I mentioned is only available on the coupe!!

Mark-
Thanks for answering all the other questions, in regards to the '04 Sedan, is this similar with dealerships across the country. I'll most likely be getting an '04 sedan from the east coast and am wondering if I should be able to expect this kind of discount from dealers in my area.
If not, I may just have to order from you and have it shipped here!
Thanks.

I cannot tell you how aggressive other dealers will be on the car, only what I am willing to do. As for shipping the car, that will not exceed $1000 and that is if you live in New York or Florida. Let me know if I can be of assistance!!
You can essentially get the similar discount thru carsdirect.com...not trying to blow you off Marcus but you gotta be able to do better for us forum ******...

I understand where you are coming from, but CarsDirect pricing is zip code sensitive, where my prices are not! Try putting a non-So.Cal. zip in and see what kind of pricing that you get from them! Plus, I am not opposed to listening to offers that are a resonable amount under that for those who live a little closer. In fact, I just put my parents zip code in from Georgia & CarsDirect is only $1500 below cost, I would say that is quite a difference.Originally posted by davezaristo

I'll help you out Marcus
My area zip
230 Coupe -> $2000 off MSRP = $191 below invoice
230 Sedan -> $2200 off MSRP = $203 below invoice
#s taken directly of the carsdirect site
And those are midwest area prices

How can you go below invoice?
I thought that was what the dealership paid?

there's holdbacks, factory incentives, volume discounts, and much more....invoice doesn't mean anything...correct me if i am wrong Marcus...Originally posted by tyro

dave is correct in his statement that there is holdback on every car we sell, but have to hit certain criteria to get that money. Incentives is another way that a dealership can sell below invoice, but does not apply to every model.
