Considering it would have to go through the pop-upgrade it would work out to almost the same price as a new unit. I think you need to lower your price if you want any bites

who cares about the pop feature... not every state uses that feature yes, so, its not necessarily useful for everyone... $300 is still a good deal

Regardless, it needs an update to be on the same level as the new v1's. All states will begin using pop, I didnt know my state had it until I got hit with my first ticket in like 8 years

i think all they do is take your old unit and update the firmware on the unit and send it right back to you... however, i think this will only work with the 1.8v

for the 1.8v, its a ~$50 upgrade cost for the firmware update.

for the 1.7v, its gonna be like ~$150 to upgrade... i think thats gonna be more than just a firmware update

oh, and in terms of turnaround time, it depends on how much you are willing to pay... they offer ground, 2-3 day or overnight return shipping...

The 1.7 is the older thicker one.

The 1.8 is the thinner one.
