WTB:18/19" x 8.5" wheels with tires
I'm looking for a set of 18/19" x 8.5" wheels with tires.
Only 8.5" or 8.5"/9.5" staggered. My Canadian C7s are 8.5" and I'm not going smaller.
Preferrably used (to avoid duty/customs/taxes if not from Canada)
Preferrably Brabus Mono VI/AMG Style V
Preferrable replicas (I don't want to spend $5K)
No chrome please
I will consider any/all rim types for the right price (looking to stay under $2K USD, maybe a little more)
Anyone looking to off-load their rims for something new this spring send me an email.

I have a set of Manaray vr5's with pirelli p-zero tires mounted on them. They are grey mesh style spokes with a polished 2.5 lip. they are 18X8.5, 35mm offset. tires are 235/40/18 with about 90% tread left on them. I had a buyer lined up to purchase them for $1400 picked up, but the buyer flaked. Im sure shipping wouldn't be more then $200 to you in canada! Let me know if you wanna see pictures of them. Here are some pics of them on my car. I haven't had time to take any pics of them off the car yet, it wont stop raining here. But if you want some close up pics and pics of the tire tread, let me know. I'll take some pics as soon as i can get them out of the garage and outside.

I'm just not feeling the Brabus Mono V and look-alikes. There's too mny Neons and Civics running similar style wheels in my city.
I'm hoping to find Brabus Mono VI, AMG style IV, Carlsson 16, almost any HRE - ie straight or twin spoke design - the only other I really like are the SLR/Lorinser LM6 'turbine' wheels!

I have a set of 18' staggered cl65 replicas for sale. No tires but a steal at $750.00. Only a few hundred miles or so and no damage accept for some minor scrapes done by the tire shop when removing the tires

look on ebay. just type in Mercedes 18 or 19 and you will find some good deals. Or look at www.velocitymotoring.com

I'm in Canada and anything new will be taxed and maybe charged duty (since replicas are made overseas). Tax is at 7% federal, 8% provincial, and duty could be 4-6%. So worst case I might pay 21% taxes/duty.
On a set of $2000 USD rims/tires that's $2500 CND, and $525 in taxes/duty.
Used merchandise is typically not taxed, and much harder to identify if duty must be paid, so usually its skipped as well. The most I've ever been charged on used merchandise is the 7% federal tax.
