WTT: 2003 FX45 Infiniti for 2003 MB E55

I have a graphite (gray) over brick 2003 Infiniti FX45 that I'd like to trade in (with some $) on a 2003 E55. Any E55 owners interested in moving to this model?

It has the premium package (I think all options short of the tech package), 17,000 miles. What is the mileage on your E55? When is your M5 due in?

I think the low miles on your E55 may give it a value beyond my target price. Just curious, upon arrival of the M5, were you going to keep your E55, sell it yourself or use it as a trade?

i was debating whether or not to keep it... i wanted to try and find a rs6 for it, but no luck.

why get rid of the fx? i have a g35 coupe. and was thinking about trading for a evo. just curious why you want to get rid of yours.

I love my FX. Heck, the crossover/ SUV body style is so practical that I'm not 100% convinced I can return to the sedan world. I don't actually need or want to part with the FX unless/ until the used 211 E55 market softens a little bit more. Supercar performance in a four door format at what seems like a bargain price is a pretty attractive package. The only thing that scares me is the freefall that these E55s may be in after a while. Losing $500-$1,000 a month in value is a scary concept.

yeah i love the looks of the fx too. after i got the g35 i kind of regretted not getting the fx. damn awesome performance, and i love the low slung seating position.. feels like a sports car.

the e55 seems to hold its value... after the obvious initial hit. the real problem with holding value is that mb changes models ever other year now.

i admit the fx is a pretty badass car for an suv. interior is awesome and spacious. others suvs it felt very bulky. but the fx can manuvuer pretty well. i had the chance to race a cont gt in it.

OT post, but is there much gain on having the FX 45 over the 35? I was thinking with the extra weight of the AWD system and larger engine would offset the power gains with the V8. Love the look of the FX also!! The 35 sounds great, never heard a 45. I dont see many of those around

The 45 has a little more horsepower than the 35 but a lot more torque. The 0-60 time is 6.3 seconds.

Drove a nice black w/ copper leather FX45 for a test drive about a week ago. I would say at a min. get the V8 for the size of this SUV. The power seems reasonable but no where near excessive and would have to believe, even though I did not drive one personally, the FX35 (V6) would feel greatly underpowered esp. in AWD trim for everyday driving.
