I'm confused about the new Alpine Grey color . Previously it was referred to as a solid color or non-metallic , but I see on all 3 Dealer ordering guides it is described as code 956 metallic paint . Are these typos or have they added a new variation to make it more appealing ?

Heading to my dealer tomorrow. Getting a recall done on my E53 and talking about a build slot for the Cle53. They have 3 coming up in may/June. I'm curious how it will fully price out with options compared to my 2022 E53.

I just put together my build with my dealer. Basically, went all in on almost everything but performance seats and exterior carbon fiber (interior carbon fiber was a must). Options added to $17,290. The didn't have the base price yet. There's some differences from the posted build sheet on here and the current system, most important being that carbon fiber is a possible interior trim.

Per the MB News & Media site the CLE was announced in July (but we've heard rumors since about Feb '23 and saw spy shots in March '23), CLE300's and 450's are already in the dealerships as of March so, 8 months from release to delivery. The first CLE450 sold within days!

Base on what I learned today the CLE53 build for the USA is May, which means delivery in June. So, that's about 1 year from original CLE announcement.

CLE53's were announced on December 5, 2023 and CLE53's have been available in Europe since then, so 6 months from the CLE53 announcement to delivery.

My rep said that his dealership has 3 slots allocated for 53's and the the order window will open on March 23, 2024. The waiting is killing me...

If this makes you feel better, my dealership (Canada) still don't have any information on the order bank opening date, at least you get the order window from the MBUSA market.

Ach! Why doesn't all of North America get the same delivery??? I certainly don't understand MB's overseas delivery scheduling. I can only guess that the USA is a bigger market than Canada but as long as you're shipping cars across the Atlantic why not include Canada. Others on this site probably know better, but i'm just guessing that MB seems to have a preset scheduling delivery date sequence. Based on my observed website listings; something like; 1 -Germany; 2- Europe (Great Britain) ; 3 - Asia (Austrailia), 4 -the USA, 5 - the rest of the America's...

Well, we always get the short end of the stick in general as a consumer but that is a story for another time.

That said, Canada population density will never be like USA so that might be the reason why.

Nice video - so far only magno gray 53' s . do you know where this was taken ?
I've been browsing the UK configurator and I hope we get more choices than they do . For the CLE cabrio their most ' powerful ' model is the 450 and for the CLE 53 coupe , few exterior colors and it seems that the only color for seats is black with red accents ?
Having said that , I'm looking forward to seeing this car in person , especially in the Alpine Gray or Patagonia Red !!

Assuming video is in Germany. Attached order guide from Canada, we have all the options available. There's already spy shots of CLE 53 & 63 convertible on Google, it's definitely coming. Not sure why they're so delayed in publishing a driving review. It's sad the best car from latest AMG releases is a 53. They need to save face and come out with a CLE 63 Black Series V8, no one can afford to drop $150K on a V4 63.

Thanks CIC , just realized the order guide is for Canada ! Do you have one for the CLE 53 Cabriolet ?
I have 3 questions :
1 - What is 339 performance sound option , because I thought the AMG has a sports exhaust system as standard , even though its not mentioned under standard equipment ,as it is on the USA order guide ?
2 - What is the base sound system if the Burmeister is not ordered under the options and ,
3 - What is 772 AMG styling package ?

Thank you so much CIC , you seem to have all the answers !! So I guess the ' AMG Performance Exhaust' comes standard on the 53 as in USA even though it is not mentioned in the Canadian DOG ?
I have too much time on my hands waiting for this beast , hopefully by 2025 !
