Ditto on the random "de-selection" of settings...now my mirror fold on locking got de-selected.
My SA said that there was some "mis-communication" in the system that would be solved by a s/w update. Now I'm waiting for that.
I don't remember setting up a profile. I may have tried a few weeks ago but it didn't work. I'll check again tomorrow.
When it comes to software, MB's reach seems to have exceeded their grasp.
Happens with both. I deleted my profile and noticed settings changed the next day. Same thing happened over the next few days when I created my profile again. It's one setting at a time that gets toggled off randomly.
Try toggling the setting via Mercedes Me Connect app instead and see if it syncs to the vehicle. If I recalled correctly, you can set certain vehicle settings from the app itself.
I have not been able to get it work at all. This is a simple function so it shouldn't be rocket science to figure out if it worked properly. Before you start the car, is your brake pedal super stiff to push down (to start the car)? I know it will be somewhat stiff when the car is off but I've never had it this stiff on any of my previous cars. I wonder if the brake vacuum has any relation to the HOLD function not working?
I had a C Class sedan in which the brake hold function worked, but took a lot of quickly applied pressure. The brake pedal was occasionally stiff also. In my E Coupe, the brake hold worked flawlessly. I assumed MB had worked out any issue from the time I bought the C Class. Now I’m concerned about how it will work in the CLE 53. I guess I’ll find out soon.

My car has a software recall requiring a firmware update, could be related.
has this issue been resolved for you? I’m having the same issue. My vehicle has been in the shop for two weeks and they’re just now saying they think it’s the wheel bearings. I only have 700 miles on my vehicle.

Same here on my CLE200. Mirror fold option happens rarely. But easy entry exit feature keeps forgetting the option to move the seat out of the way. Waiting for dealer to confirm appointment but I doubt they'll be able to fix this.

I'll be scheduling an appointment in a few weeks to take a look at all the issues I've found. I waited so that I could try to have all the issues addressed in one go rather than making multiple trips. Let's see.
Check out the NHTSA website recall section, https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls. Search for “2024 MERCEDES-BENZ CLE” There is a “manufacturer communications” section with numerous CLE (including the CLE53) issues described.

yeah you're going crazy. It's always been like that. You don't notice the dead zones in daylight.
You can customize what's on those menus as you thumb through them BTW, I have parking cameras set on the lower and all AMG type switchable options on the other (suspension, traction control, etc.)

Yeah I know I can change the knobs but I could've sworn the display was filled out on the whole circle. But as you said, I likely didn't notice from the daytime.

The mirror folding when locking seems to be working on my CLE53. The seat movement in the Easy Entry and Exit feature randomly toggles off.
For me, the mirror folding setting just toggles off less frequently (maybe once a week?). The seat setting toggles off every other day almost.
I’ve only had the car for a day, so maybe the mirror folding issues just hasn’t happened yet. I will watch for it. On my E53 Coupe, the mirror occasionally wouldn’t fold when locking. Manually closing and opening the mirrors with the door switch fixed the issue. I never checked to see if the folding option had been deselected.
I've had issues with the electrical/software. First time, screen froze and got hot and then I would try to choose something when frozen and things started happening in the background - like calling my husband.. Apple Carplay initially stopped and then the air started getting warm and came out at a trickle. Dealership said software update needed. Picked it up and things were ok. Next the check engine light came on a week later. They said something wrong with ignition and replaced. Today, Apple Carplay stopped, and then the air started getting warm and came out at a trickle again. Screen not hot though. Anyone having this issue?
EXACT same issues…. I thought it was me at first, it isn’t. For me, the steering wheel position stays out, the seat is the one that randomly shuts off. The mirrors did it at first too but seemed to fix itself. Steering wheel amg buttons randomly change settings, keyless go just decides not to work several times a week.

Recently, the steering wheel shortcuts have stayed put. The mirror folding has only turned off once in the last two weeks. And this week after the "graphic goodies" update, my seat settings have stayed put. Maybe they pushed out something via OTA?
Having issues with climate fan speed. Speeds 1 - 5 are the same and barely respond. Only when you select fan speed 6 or 7 do you feel and hear the air moving. I've tried this with various temperature settings, vent selections etc
The owners manual for the CLE says the seat heating balance can be adjusted (from seat cushion to backrest). The manual says the setting is found in COMFORT-SEAT-HEATING SETTINGS-SEAT HEATING BALANCE. My CLE 53 only has “Additional Steering Wheel Heating” under HEATING SETTINGS. Seat Heating Balance adjustment isn’t there.
I don’t know if that is an error of just the way the CLE 53 is configured. I would expect that the CLE 53 would have the capability to adjust the seat heating balance if the other CLE models have that capability. Maybe the seat heating balance is found in another menu location.
Can someone with a CLE 53 check their car for the ability to adjust the seat heating balance.
The Easy Entry Seat retract turns off by itself. It's a bit of a pain in the a$$ getting into the car with the seat forward and getting jammed between the seat and the steering wheel. And, I don't know what else isn't working because I have no other car to reference.
