Anyone Regret Not Getting the Cab?

I must say after seeing the latest vids they did a very nice job with it (looks great top up or down) ...almost wishing I got one vs the coupe, plus the suspension is tuned to be a bit more compliant which is a plus.

The coupe now has a b pillar, cab solves it.

not going to lie, the Airscarf and Aircap even having the soft top down in winter... it is still a pleasant experience as long as it is not snowing. I have friends with cabs that actually did just that in Toronto, at -3 to 3

My red 53 cab should be coming off of the line today. We saw a red one at a dealer and the rear 3/4 view with the flared fender and wide tires is incredible. We had been planning on purchasing a 450 until we saw the 53 cab.

I had an SL550 and an M6 cab, so I’m familiar with the open air experience. I think cabs have more negatives than positives, which is why I bought the coupe. No regrets here.

I’ve had both as well in many makes and generally prefer coupes for the cleaner lines and increased structural rigidity etc. But this cab is unique as it looks very good both up and down, something that can’t be said of too many. There’s also the previous raised pillar less point, and more compliant suspension which it in itself is due to compensate for the lack of rigidity compd to the coupe.
